Great food with a fantastic service. What a lovely way to start the new year! Would 100% recommend to everyone!

Came here for a family Sunday dinner and the food was lovely. The staff are really friendly and an overall great experience.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere went with friends, all had something different from the menu, I had the station burger would def recommend. Very friendly staff who aim to please everyone.

What an amazing pub this is. Great food and the service is beyond than perfect. The atmosphere is warm and cosy and has a home from home feel. The food is by far the best I have had from a pub and would highly recommend it. Definitely worth a visit.

I’ve been a local of this pub for twenty years in its many incantations and I am delighted to have it back under the new team. They have brought a huge amount of enthusiasm and imagination with them. I asked if they sold non-alcoholic wine, explaining my liver was not functioning properly. The service was appalling with the single waitress engrossed, in full sight, on her phone. We bought a bottle of wine and I added my own non-alcoholic wine so it was half and half. Suddenly, the Manageress appeared and started berating me. Not in my restaurant she quivered and told us to leave.

The atmosphere in here is wonderful it’s serene and elegant, with quite an old fashioned vibe and nice background music. We love the fact it’s not over decorated or flashy. The food is tasty and the house wine really quaffable, above what you’d expect at a standard pub! We’ve been back twice now for food and each time it’s been lovely. The staff are lovely too and provide a restaurant standard service, always with a smile. Also, the sports TV is tucked away to the side so that those who want to watch can but it doesn’t take over the whole pub if that’s not your thing. Overall, a new favourite of ours!

After a walk in the area with my wife we walked past this lovely pub and decided to pop in ,I must say the staff is very professional and super friendly ! Also noticed there was pub quiz and good few tables full on Monday night then the lovely bar man told us they have just started doing food literally the money we walked in so we have ordered the antipasti and truffle Parmesan chips ,great quality big portions and the chips were the best chips we’ve ever had we we so pleasantly surprised how good and the service was ,will be back and do not Hesitate to pop in and get some really good quality pub grab , we will definitely come back and bring friends with us great great find !!!
