"I actually come here to breakfast regularly. before 12 they do a fantastic eier benediktin, ie royal and a full English for under five. I thought I was trying to eat an evening as it is open until 11 o'clock and it's date night. they have a two cure for 11 quid off putting, but the rest is really nice. I said with the baked pork mushroom with melted edam and an salat on the side. with my spicy tradition I ordered a sorrento. pepperoni, fried tweebel, chili, speck and huh on a tomato basis. the woman had florentino with cheese, spinat, oliven and a ei (fried) the basic was soggy in the middle of the pizza, but the ingredients were fresh and the za tasted...more"

This bistro is a welcoming and smoothly operated establishment that serves delicious homemade meals with quick and friendly service at a great price. It doesn't try to be fancy, it just sticks to what it does well. Perfect for families and cake-loving friends.

The staff were extremely pleasant and even brought out a surprise slice of cake with a candle on it when they overheard me wishing my sister a Happy Birthday. We were never rushed and the food was lovely. The one thing I would say is that I didn't realise they obviously cater for children in a big way, with a kiddie's corner and drawings on the walls. There were a few children in during our lunchtime which made it quite noisy so it wouldn't be ideal for a romantic lunch date, but I'm sure in the evenings it would be fine.

We booked a party of 8 for a 5.45 slot as we had to leave at 7 to attend a concert at 7.30. Although some members of the party were late, orders of most people were placed at 6.00. No-one got their main course (in some cases the only course) till 6.45 despite several requests that the performer in the party should be served as soon as her food was ready. Staff waited for the latecomers order to be taken, and then all food was served at absolutely the last minute. The staff seemed overwhelmed by the number of diners, and communication was difficult due to language difficulties. My Lasagne was overcooked and unappetizing. I will not go back.

"If you live in or visit Hanwell you must take a lazy walk down by the locks and build up an appetite before heading to the W7 Emporium. It’s a little white door by a crappy old man pub sat next to a small florist. Open the door and the atmosphere is straight away comfortable, your away from the street and simply relaxed and at home. The staff are friendly and offer as much banter as you want to be involved with so this is nice and a change from the branded offerings. The furniture is mix and match and the space light and airy so it fits well with Hanwells vibe and there is an outdoor space for the summer. The menu I would describe as funky modern Mediterranean, and there are no sausages which for me can be an issue. But if I’m being 100% honest I couldn’t care less here, the options here are well thought and imaginative. If you want a fry up there are other places in Hanwell to get one but if you want a Mexican there is only one place and that’s here. Ok I’ve given away my ultimate fave thing on the menu it’s what I have and it’s spot on. Poached eggs, nice bread, salad, crispy bacon, avocado and spicy sauce all out together and presented beautifully. So here we go it’s hands down the best place in Hanwell and if you want wine with brunch that’s fine because they serve that too. Have a couple then walk back to the canal and enjoy the afternoon whatever the season it’s a regular weekend jaunt and a compromise between a fry up for me and something healthy for the wife. In the eternal battle of good verses evil the Emporium emerges victorious every time."
