"from a restaurant in St. andrews, to eat our favourite place when they visit this historic city. there are only 6 tables that make it cozy, but big enough to not feel crowded when eating. today we have picked up their meals, 3 dishes for under £12, the whole food that came to the table was excellent, could not fail any of it, clean dishes round. they have a full bar and serve soft drinks, tees and coffee. prices are comparable to other operating in the region. they also have a take-off area below for the food collection. the server was polite today, fast and well presented. toilets are available for customers. Unfortunately, the escap is a row of stairs, the take-off section is down a few steps, the gents toilets are down a row of stairs on the back of the escap area as well, so it is not suitable for wheelchair users."

As is the usual story, it was embarrassingly the first time I had eaten at The Oriental House. The food , service and overall I was delighted and enjoyed being in this long established St Andrews restaurant.

Excellent food! Didn't taste processed and not too salty. Didn't have the feeling that the food contained artificial colourants and monosodium glutamate unlike some places. We ordered sweet and sour chicken HK style and and crispy spicy king prawn noodles both great!
