"I was first introduced to Orsini by my friend Rona a few years ago. I guess we were going to an exhibition at the V&A, though what I remember more clearly is the food afterwards! Since then I’ve popped into Orsini a number of times, but always for a snack – perhaps a bowl of soup – around lunchtime. I like its informality and the freshness of its cooking. Here you will find authentic Italian food. Well, Nicola and Rachael came back saying they’d had a wonderful meal there last Friday evening and so I thought I really must go again myself. And that fitted perfectly with my plan to meet my Italian friend Lucia in South Kensington for a drink and food late yesterday afternoon before going into the V&A at 7.00pm to see the Constable exhibition. Now taking an Italian into an Italian restaurant is a little risky for, as I’ve said before, the Italians are very particular about their food and very knowledgeable and what you think is authentic might well not meet their high standards. Very good food and service. The Bolognese was pretty good and the cheesecake was delicious. Fungi risotto was OK, but not as good as the other 2 dishes.

Beautiful food and authentic Italian hospitality! We enjoy that so much and keep reorder various type of pasta and risotto! They are very thoughtful in their service as well! Love it!

beautiful place!. eating and service were great. I did not grieve the cheese plate, but really wanted something mozzerella, and they made me a huge teller of it. had the lasagna and it was at a reasonable price. would definitely recommend for a quick lunch.

This restaurant is well-prepared in terms of food, but needs improvement in the dining atmosphere. The food quality is good and I would recommend it for a quick lunch. The ambiance and infrastructure are not the best, but considering the prices, I can't complain!

I had the tomato gnocchi, tomato linguine, a side of spinach, and a chicken dish, all of which were delicious and full of flavor. Despite asking for less salt on the gnocchi and spinach, they were still incredibly tasty. The service was a bit slow, but the freshness of the homemade pasta made up for it. While the portions were on the smaller side, the flavors of the meal were worth any inconvenience.

Good but plenty of extras on the bill.. I had the veal with new potatoes and it was very reminiscent of my time in Amalfi on the South Coast of Italy. The service is warm and friendly, the only downside is the pricing, while typical of London it's still a little steep, various non-descript items on the bill padded it to £25 which seemed a lot for a main course, a piece of cake to take away and glass of house red.

Estaba a pocos pasos de nuestro hotel, rembrandt, y en el entorno lo que más hay restaurantes italianos. aquí lo normal es que no se equivoca con la elección de este sitio es agradable y moderno en decoración, y lasaña o spaguettis con fruti di mare de los más apetitosos. La verdad es que estábamos ansiosos de volver otro día, pero no había ninguna ocasión. En cuanto a los precios de 18 libras por comensal sin postre y con vino, algo asequible como estamos en una de las zonas más caras de la capital de Londres.
