good music and great crowd. there are two dance floors. up to & did not have a chance to try the food. the beer is good over there. I had crate ipa what was good.

I should possibly have pushed the boat out and gone for Cod, Smoked Eel Clams, but my chicken dish was comforting delicious. The Plaice was beautifully cooked and the Jerusalem artichokes deserved their spot, but the sea vegetables were (intentionally) too salty for us.

SO good! Maybe not wait-40-minutes-in-the-cold-good but once I was in I was happy I'd made the effort and I doubt the massive queue will be a regular occurrence. Knowing how many people must have been ahead of us to necessitate waiting so long, we knew it would be busy inside. And, in the downstairs bar area, there was quite a crush. Awful food!!. Food was simply terrible! salmon BLT starter was tasteless, the bread was the texture and taste of mighty white, smoked salmon was partially cooked not warmed, watery tomatoes. The burger bun was stale, dry bread. Totally average burger itself. £35 celebration' of beef was a good steak with limp chips. The whole thing was just very 2 dimensional especially for the price. I would maybe go here for drinks but as a restaurant they are a massive fail. Go to Lardo instead. Ver carta

I'm a fan of oslo. I've had great nights out here who love their line ups. the queues are not above the top, the teams are polite and the music is topnotch. when my friend asked me to meet here for a day of pint/snacks, I was surprised (due ugly 2am memories), but it turned out how good! very relaxed mood, with people who usually sit outside on benches (I'm almost fallen from one, but that's another story) than I had to get my snacks (only chips or so) they go the extra mile to make sure that eating decent quality and taste is what I really appreciated. all are...read more

Set up a restaurant/bar decorated in wood and bricks with a rugged edge next to Hackney Central station. Hire staff that know more about the latest trends than the food served. Name the place after a Nordic city people might have heard of but do not know much about. That’s the combination of ingredients in the recipe behind Oslo Hackney’s success, at least if you judge the number of likes their Facebook page has attracted within 2 months.
