We had late dinner with grilled meat and vegetables: top quality and a very good service considering they was closing the restaurant.

Stopped here for lunch while waiting to check in to our villa. Lovely traditional Tuscan food with friendly service. Loved the Tuscan appetiser is cheese and meats.

We dined here three times over ten days whilst staying in Cavrigla. Two dinners and one lunch. Alessandro and his staff were fabulous. They went out of their way to explain the dishes and inform about the wines. We had a lot of fun here and the little extras that Alessandro supplied at the end of the meals were greatly appreciated. The meals were all homemade. I loved the large ravioli.

Helen, the owner welcomes you in her romantic restaurant nested in a delightful village. She uses only local ingredients to prepare high standard meals. To start we had the artichokes flan, the crunchy cod with two sorts of kales. The tagliolini with white truffles and crispy bacon were just amazing as the slow cooked veal and the lamb chops. Very poor service, medium food, extremely overrated. Visited this place in Aug 2018, based on reviews: very big mistake. It has nothing to offer other than average food, slow and bad service, totally unfair price/quality report. Just walk down the road 200 m, to the main square, and you will find better places to eat, better food, and definetly better service. This is just a tourist scam, nothing else! Sad as it may seem, but eating sandwiches is a better idea.

We visited Osteria dei Trenta on a Wednesday evening as a party of 14. We enjoyed excellent food and service at a price we thought was quite reasonable. The cuisine is home cooked Tuscan with a small menu of varied dishes ranging from traditional Tuscan antipasti of cheese and honey to sirloin steak shared between two. The desserts were particularly delicious. We were made welcome by the staff who were attentive. The occasion was a lovely highlight of our holiday and we are happy to recommend.

Our foursome was late in arriving for lunch at Osteria dei Trenta, yet the staff graciously served us a wonderful meal complete with bread, olive oil, and wine. Especially memorable was the pici con cinghiale (thick spaghetti with wild boar meat sauce). We were the only customers at that hour and were made to feel most welcome. At the end of the meal, we wanted to purchase some of the olive oil, but their shipment was coming the next day. So the owner gave us the bottle from the table as a gift. We were all very impressed with everyone’s generosity of spirit and the delicious food and wine. We highly recommend and will return on our next trip to Tuscany!
