"Für den Abschluss unseres Lugano Besuchs hatten wir uns am Sonntagmittag die Vecchia Osteria Seseglio ausgesucht. Ohne vorherige Reservierung betraten wir gegen 14:00 Uhr das Restaurant. Wir wurden von einem jungen Ober freundlich begrüsst und uns wurde sodann ein Tisch zugewiesen, gleich im ersten Zimmer nach dem Eingang. Wertiges , edel rustikales Ambiente, cozy, grosse Tischabstände, man fühlt sich wohl und erspürt zugleich das Anspruchsniveau, dass hier befriedigt wird. Auf unsere Nachfrage wurde uns der ganze Rehrücken empfohlen, da dieses Gericht eine besondere Spezialität sei und auch nur in dieser Jahreszeit erhältlich ist. Umfangreiche Weinkarte mit regionalen Tessiner und renommierten internationalen Produzenten bei guter Jahrgangstiefe, etwa mit Faktor 2,5 3 kalkuliert. Die Weinberatung durch den Sommeliere in Fremdsprache auf englisch nicht zielführend. Die erste geöffnete Flasche wurde nach dem Probeschluck von uns abgelehnt, da der Wein einen dominanten Holzton besass und somit die gestellten Anforderungen an Harmonie, Balance und Trinkreife nicht erfüllte. Anzumerken ist, dass die Flasche jedoch anstandslos zurückgenommen wurde. Eine zweite Flasche eines anderen Tessiner Produzenten war dann besser, jedoch auch nicht wirklich auf Augenhöhe mit dem fantastischen Rehrücken, der folgte:Dieser wurde am Tisch tranchiert, in Scheiben geschnitten und mit den klassischen Beilagen dazu auf einem Teller serviert. Feinster Wildgeschmack, zart wie Marzipan, die feinen Beilagen inkl. der Sauce eine Sinfonie von Harmonie und Aromen, ein perfektes Weihnachtsessen schon am 1. November. Ganz besonders gefallen dabei hat der Geschmack der Birne. In dieser Qualität und Vollendung wurde uns dieser Wildklassiker noch nirgends serviert. Grosse Küchenleistung. Herzlichen Dank für dieses wundervolle Mittagessen!"

"Found at the end of a track is a new building on the farm which is a beautiful structure for the restaurant. Everyone was really friendly the food was great, menu was very small and almost without a veggie option. 84 euro bought us 2 starters (mixed slice meat and pastry with cheese and honey both good in addition we had a couple of mushroom apetisers included. 1 primi, a tagliatelle with ragout which was truly delicious. For main a duck with raspberry sauce which again was very nice and a tagliata which was good but not as well presented as the rest. Dessert was a divine blackcurrant cheesecake and a lemon pie both without fault. 2 coffee, litre of house wine and water. It was quite noisy but as an agriturismo that was just about acceptable as there were quite a lot of kids, My only obseravation was the service was a little too quick for my choice and once we understood this we slowed the dessert down a bit. I would say its not for vegetarians as the main courses were only 3 types of beef (tagliata, costata and fiorentina casseula and duck. We will return :"

"We arrived on a public holiday to a trattoria which was pretty much unheated. We were looking for something that could be prepared quite quickly, but it seemed that there was little on offer, We decided upon an asparagus lasagne. This took 25 minutes, but was singularly unappetizing and almost cold when it arrived. It has to be said that they gave us a plate of ham on the house, which was nice. When we came to pay, we were amazed that they wanted €18 for this gastronomic delight . When we said it was not worth it, the price was reduced to €10 (still too much). So, I think we would say to anyone considering using this trattoria that it has its idiosyncrasies but really, in all honesty, based on our experience, it 's not worth a visit. Sorry, but that 's just how we saw it."

"a Sunday of August I and my partner decided to go to have lunch at the farm the two oaks, recommended by a colleague... The farm is located in binago, to reach it you have to walk a dirt road; As soon as you arrive you immediately notice a brick and plaster structure, of a beautiful bright yellow, well cared for, with a large garden, where there are games for children, and behind the stable for the cows, two fences one for the donkey and one for ducks and geese... everything is well maintained, clean and very welcoming!! ! Enter, after asking us to show the green pass, they make us sit at the table we had booked; The living room is well furnished, with ceilings on the tones of the rose, a wall in masonry, with tables both round and rectangular, well spaced between them and in order... We decided to take the menu of the month, per person, that is fried dumpling with cold meats, fried polenta with beans and cotechino meatballs with fresh pasta sauce with sinello ragù and beef roast with potatoes all accompanied by bread and water at will... Finally we wanted to take also the sweet, tiramisu and cake pears and cottage cheese. Both the wine and the desserts are excluded from the menu, but it is worth it, all great, exquisite... quality products to lick the mustache!!! I definitely recommend the farm “le due querce”, for the friendliness of the staff and for the quality of food...We will definitely come back!"
