Ottima esperienza. piccolo ma molto pulito e situato in una zona tranquilla ai margini del centro storico. ottimo cappellano di zucca sia per ragù e burro e salvia con il puff fatto in casa da loro. superlativo il tiramisu. Bel personale. prezzi onesti. assolutamente da consigliare

Quite off the beaten track. Food was simple Italian fair but cooked to perfection. Host spoke a little English and was warm and welcoming. A lot to like about this place and I think we were lucky to get a table as he was turning people away, so if you can book ahead and secure a seat in this awesome find.

We stopped by this small osteria that was recommended by our hotel concierge. There is a spacious dining area that is fairly causal, but comfortable. The menu is traditional Ferrarese cuisine with daily specials. The wait staff is accommodating and made modifications for the kids meals which were brought out immediately. The food quality is reasonably good and prices were in line with expectations. We walked in and were able to get a table. It’s a good option if you don’t happen to have made reservations during busy lunch times and weekend dinners.

Siamo stato accolti a cena dal personale di sala che, nonostante il locale fosse bello pieno, ci ha fatto accomodare quasi subito..abbiamo ordinato 2 primi dopo aver consultato il menù che offre alcuni piatti tipici della cucina ferrarese. Dopo un' attesa nella media ci hanno servito cappellacci e ravioli..leggermente stracotti ma con un ragù ottimo e anche il ripieno dei ravioli era molto equilibrato e saporito. La cucina merita e anche il servizio, unico neo forse il menù un pó troppo invernale..ma rispettoso della tradizione di Ferrara con qualche aggiunta..promosso anche il conto adeguato al posto e alle proposte del locale.

This is not a restaurant-pizzeria. It is a restaurant. And it specialises in typical hearty ferrarese food. It is magnificent. I was with a group of friends on New Year 's Eve. Most people chose two courses from appetiser/starter/main course side dish and with different wines galore then coffees we ended up paying €30 each. Considering the restaurant is in the Old Town of Ferrara and considering restaurant prices in Italy on New Year 's Eve can easily triple, the price was eminently reasonable. I went for a mixture of cold sliced meats as an appetiser followed by a huge cotoletta bassotta steak beans as a side.
