My friends and I spent a pleasant evening. Very particular and characteristic place, excellent food. We all had a starter and a first course. The battered courgette flowers were good, but I would have preferred them to be cooked a little more. Excellent substitutes. Perfect carbonara tonnarelli. It's a place with prices a little above average, but the certainty is that you leave satisfied. I will definitely go back Parking: Being in the center, you have to park outside and reach the place on foot.

We went to eat in this tavern, there were 4 of us plus a stroller (specified at the time of booking). When we arrived we were told that there was no room for the stroller, we were offered the high chair but having a 5 month old baby he can't sit independently yet so we had to hold him in our arms... and well so far everything is ok, if not if only for the fact that we were made to sit at a table turned upside down by the others with two chairs in the passage, (which would have been narrow even for 4 let alone having to hold a baby in our arms) when next to us there was a table for 4 comfortable set for 2 remained empty all evening. I have been going to the Roman osteria for some time and I can confirm without a shadow of a doubt that it is one of Modena's gastronomic jewels. The Roman cuisine offered here is simply excellent, enough to reevaluate my standards for Roman food outside the capital. Of all the delicious dishes I have tasted here, the tonnarelli cacio e pepe and the meatballs as well as the artichokes are a must-try, offering an authentic Roman culinary experience. The wine list is well curated and offers excellent options to accompany the dishes. It is true that the place is small, but this feature contributes to its typical charm.
