"The Evangelist The Evangelist welcomes us hungry, on an unlikely time, on a festive day and in less than two minutes we have our table. At the entrance we almost thought we had wrong entrance kitchen, exposed wines, Gianelli coffee machine there, almost as if I could use it I take away every doubt, the entrance was correct and for us was immediately synonymous with transparency. The young chef, but in his dishes the history and experience of those who have spent a life in the kitchen. The chief room could not be more friendly and kind person. That I never come again to say that in the North of Italy they do not know what hospitality is, because there is no more hospitable person of the Head Hall of the Restaurant the Evangelist. Last but not for importance, and my favorite since I am a lover of good wine what I think was the sommelier. Pacata, kind and prepared person who offered us a great Rosso Veronese “Palazzo della Torre”, wine of which we fell in love. I also take the opportunity to greet the very nice waiter who immediately noticed my husband’s dazzling smile. For prices I'm not the right person, I'm almost never writing about it. "Wow! What fantastic food! The best pasta we had during our stay in Verona! It's a shame we couldn't go back... We didn't have a reservation but was able to get a table for 4 as soon as it opened at 7pm for 90mins, we were so lucky as they were turning people away so would highly recommend booking. Two of the dishes were without tomatoe sauce and they tasted amazing! Service was fantastic and we weren't rushed at all. I asked for a recommendation for a red wine to have with my pasta and it was always fantastic! "We spent some time locating this place after a recommendation from our daughter but, as we were only spending three nights in Verona, we could have ate at better places. You order through a tablet, this could be the primary reason for our discontent as the dishes aren’t divided into the order of food as you’d expect and I think I’d have made a better choice if it had. Secondly the bread of the pizza we ordered was harder than expected. Well, almost like bread you’d slice and butter. Service was quick, almost too quick, and staff were attentive whilst we were eating. This may not be what everyone likes. However, when it came to pay there was no one about to ask if the bill would be brought to us.. Ultimately we found we needed to go to the bar to pay. Overall, not an unpleasant experience and good value. We just wish we’d taken the many opportunities we had to go somewhere else."

"the setting and the interieur is cool, but eating did not match our expectations. the fries were good, but we found the burger tasteless and in the necessity of seasoning and sauces and the little extra, such as crancy veggies or beautiful cheese. the dessert chocolate cake was nothing special and the waitress seemed rather uninterested in us, although there were only 2 tables with customers at that time. the owner? was very friendly at check-out, offers us a beautiful carribbean? overnight. but we expected a lot more of the burgers."

"Il punto forte ovviamente è il menù. Bellissimo trovare tutte quelle proposte vegane! C'era l'imbarazzo della scelta!!!! Abbiamo scelto il finto filetto alla Wellington e un involtino di zucchine. Belle presentazioni. Pietanze tutte molto gustose!!! Note negative: io berrei una centrifuga anche il pomeriggio. Hanno una parete piena di frutta e verdure e alle 18.00 ci hanno detto che non fanno centrifughe. Vabbè, l'acqua aromatizzata era molto molto buona. Forse sui social c'è poca comunicazione perché noi, da turiste, non sapevamo che ci fossero due menù diversi e nemmeno che la cucina aprisse ad orari diversi dall'apertura del locale. Ultima postilla: cambiate personale! Per il cibo tornerei volentieri"
