"We were pre-warned to book as this is a very busy pub/restaurant. They were right, we were offered 16.15 or 20.30 for times available a week in advance. Not an issue, at all just a pre-warning to others! I visited here more than 10 years ago, I'm sure it was under different management but it's just as I remembered! Clean, bright and with lovely sunset views (at the time we dined) I remember it being quite pricy the last time I visited so wasn't such a shock, but for what we received portion wise it wasn't the best value. I ordered slow-cooked British pork. The food when it arrived was lukewarm at best and the pork was tough as old boots, all be it tasty still. The food was delivered quickly and the staff were very attentive! I hope this was an off day as I would visit again, the bar downstairs was cracking after a day on the beach. All in all reasonably happy, but portion sizes, heat of the food and price let it down slightly!"

We were a large party with a small child, we were looked after really well and the food and service was excellent. Gorgeous location and lots of parking.

Had a couple of breakfasts and an evening drink on a recent visit to the area. Really good and will use again and will certainly recommend. Also is very dog friendly.

A beautiful spot even on a grizzly, grey, lashing rain of a day. Can only imagine how stunning on a clearer day! really nice pockets of seating upstairs with incredible views. A must see. Ver carta

Good menu choices with some nice specials. Really helpful and professional serving staff. Top chef and scrummy food. C30 quid a head for 2 courses including drinks so pretty food value too. Thanks

Can’t recommend it highly enough. After a terrible first experience we weren’t going to come back, however after the promise of free meals if we returned we decided to give it a second chance. We are so glad we did, the food was so delicious and amazing, great drinks and service. the atmosphere and toilet facilities were also great. We got this meal for free after our first experience and were so pleased with it! Can’t fault it and would recommend to anyone!
