"after many years of abstinence from the Verdener horse auctions, we drove back to this really beautiful town to look at acquiring horses. At lunchtime on Sunday we also looked for many years without reservation for this restaurant, which is still equipped with an appealing ambiente. thunderstorms!, against 13.15 clock were all tables up to a two table. that speaks a clear speech. nicely covered tables - the candles are actually only lit in the evening?- and a friendly service took us in reception. brot, butter, crumble fresh cheese and coarse salt were served immediately and we decided to eat 2 different appetizers, namely field salad with deenbrust ( smoked and roasted)Bubencarpaccio and cream of red bepacete at least both were so-called. 1/2 portions of dressed, also served as main dish. this factor is already very remarkable and pleasant, because it is considered to be eating for all. to make it short: both appetizers were first-class-without when and but- and as 1/2 portion generously dimensioned. as a main dish we also wanted to consume a 1/2 portion of the cod with supplements and of paprika-cown noodles with ragout from the spout.Leider obviously "slowed" the order "1/2 portion". to make it short here too; the cod was also top-class -€27.00 - and it wasn't bad at all that the 1/2 portion order had fallen.The herb noodle/panferkelragout dish - € 14.00 - was very abundant, but had tasted "air up" in view of the taste experiences already completed (see above). the ragout should taste even more beautiful and the herb noodles still a little more after weed. but, as always in life, everything is relatiw; without the previous really first-class taste standards, that dish would probably have been classified as " tasty".Beide open wee have drank for eating (dry rose from thirtyacker and a crianza rioja each 0.2 l for € 6.00 ) were delicious and inexpensive.All in all: excellent."

the food was as always top-class! very varied, really for everyone looking at something! great ideas, such as fried green cabbage or grilled asparagus. we always like to come here. the wee recommended was once again extra class! the portions could be a little smaller, but that looks different.In any case absolutely recommended and if the beautiful summer garden opens pades restaurant in the countryside verden unbeatable!

"Sunday was still wonderful weather, so we decided to take a trip to Verden. The city center offers jewellery houses and also a visit to the cathedral and the Andreaskirche is always nice. After we had visited the most beautiful house past the monument of John Lennon, we went back to the pedestrian zone at the Aller. The goal was the Portofino that I knew from earlier. The outdoor area is great, but unfortunately it was too fresh. There is another outdoor area on the rear, large terrace, very nice in appropriate weather. There are two interiors, right behind the entrance is the smoker area, after which a large, hose-like space follows. It was later afternoon and so we had the free choice of tables. Unfortunately, a wooden wall was looked at in the rear area, which should define the sanitary area. In addition, one looked at the stacked upholstery of the garden chairs. In general, the interiors urgently need a refresh, still the terracotta sounds as 10 years ago. The waiter was friendly and fixed. We quickly had a carafe Pinot Grigio on the table and then studied the extensive map. Two pages only pasta dishes, you have to go through first. My companion had an appetite for Bolognese, so the classic. The spaghetti alla Puttanesca amazed me. I know the dish from southern Italy, olives, sardines and capers make an interesting taste experience. If the cook understands to take the correct amount of sardines, otherwise it becomes too salty. After 20 minutes, two deep plates stood before us with very hot dishes. Something nice decoration wouldn't have hurt because the eye bites. However, the plates were colorful, now yes! It was not the super taste experience, but also not bad. There are in any case worse Italians, but also better ones. Also my companion could not get through to hymns of praise. I've done the lot of things, my companion said that there was a bit missing. A little spaghetti ice cream was ordered and for me an espresso was not really hot. The ice cream tasted good, I tried it, as a child's portion it was also plentiful, I found. My conclusion: I remembered it better and as I said: the ambience! However, the prices are perfect for the fast noodle. The house wine 0.5 liter came 8,50, my dish 8.00 euros and the Bolognese cost only 7.50 euros."

"Pade's restaurant in the Lower Saxony district and riding town of Verden kept a Michelin star for 17 years until Wolfgang Pade decided to simplify his kitchen in my perception as one of the first expectations of Teller Ikebana, at least at the time, not to correspond to the expectations of Teller Ikebana, but to simplify his kitchen: regional, seasonal, product-focused, but creative and also Mediterranean views over the plate edge. Actually, all that is currently for upscale German cuisine. I can only recommend a visit to the homepage; the current offer is varied with some surprises. Above all, it is written in detail and interesting about the restaurant and the cuisine as a whole. Not always after my hat, but authentic and powerful. If you take the occupancy on this Saturday afternoon, the concept has not been harmed economically; it was preserved. So we had to take a place at the service station for my suffering, which caused some trouble. Although there is only one card in the offer, it is held in the spatial concept of the stars. In the bistro it goes more rustic and closer. In the restaurant everything is somewhat more festive, although here too no ceiling on the bright wooden tables (with a barely-friendly midfoot! the distance is somewhat more generous. The front part is shaped by the double windows overlooking the Domplatz. Located in the back, to the very nice garden recommended for the summer visit, it is darker, but also cozy. The former use as a patrician villa is recognizable in all rooms, be it by the lights, high wood or stucco ceilings or the really beautiful intarsia parquet. The view into the past is relaxed by modern art. Four stars. The service was provided by a life-experienced employee who did her job routiniert with braked kindness. Extra requests were not welcome during full occupancy, complaints were processed more than regretted. A message on the daily offers was brief, and there were no indications about the dishes served. But also no rough carvings, therefore 3 stars. The special feature was the 25th anniversary of a regular table, which, of course, had to be documented by the local press as expected without any consideration for the remaining guests. For the photos, the owner came from the kitchen. It would have been nice if he had not only greeted regular guests during his departure. But it was for the rest of the service. Initially, there was fresh baguette from the baker with you had to guess Paprikacrème with spring onions? Olive oil, Fleur de sel and a pepper mixture were also at the start. Monthly map and day offers had already sacked the autumn and were a festival for wild lovers. Meat from domestic hunting is natural at Pade. My choice fell to Reh, a french band to the entrance (9€ and Spaghetti Bolognese as an intercourse (10€). As the main course Hirschkeule (17.5€). This is a humble eater as well as slumbers who like to taste several courses; so me. However, the deer plate nevertheless accidentally came to the table first in a large version. The noodle plate once again showed how easy it is to conjure a smile on the lips with good products and neat craftsmanship. Although the noodles did not have the rough surface on which the sauce adheres so well, the Gargrad was exactly al dente. The Bolognese with dense meat taste, sharp and with a light, pleasant acidity. Perfectly complemented with the sweet Borretane onions. To do that, a little cheered parmesan. The tasty broccoli roasts had bites and set a colour accent. They were not necessary. The (for me final strong lobe was perfectly pink fried the meat had structure without being too strong. Intense, only slightly sweet kerosene, I also liked because it did not taste too shallow. Together with the solid, well seasoned forest mushrooms, a wonderful autumn dish, where the reduced wildyuz and a piquant mustard sauce leave nothing to be desired. Very neutral tagliatelles were dyed with red bete. And with the cranberries in the form of a creamy sorbet the certain something flashed. Only the Late Pinot had an all too intrusive acidity, as the only real weakness of the day that was too bad. Conclusion: Here you know what to do! A unique kitchen handwriting, absolutely at the level of time. Therefore: recommendation. I guess you have to accept the service that doesn't just go. Satisfied I leaned back in the comfortable leather chair and provided a sweet fan at her culinary highlight of this beautiful lunch company."
