The food is always top-notch and the atmosphere is charming. We had no trouble getting a table, as it seemed like everyone else was busy watching football.

I recently discovered this restaurant and it truly is a hidden gem. The food was amazing, especially the incredibly fresh mussels in my linguine and the absolutely delicious tiramisu. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere was delightful. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Pizza was nice, could easily be made vegan. Didn’t mind waiting for the food to arrive except this couldn’t be said if one ordered a steak which arrived completely overcooked for my date (order was for medium, that bit was a let down. Cocktails were alright, at least they got the Negroni right-ish.

Very good first experience visiting Paglia e Fieno. Good menu. Amazing value for money, with large portions. Good food and service. I tried the Fiorentina steak. Perfectly cooked as requested. Minor point: the table knife was not changed into a steak knife, it would have been better. We will definetly return.

I was really disappointed with the quality of the food and service. Having lived in East Grinstead for 5 years now and a regular visitor of this restaurant years ago, I was shocked at how sub standard the service and food quality was. I would not recommend this place nor visit again. It used to be amazing! Such a shame.

After living in Italy for 5 years, we were on the lookout for authentic Italian cuisine made with fresh ingredients. And we found it. With Thomas Vorn and Antonio in the kitchen, the focus on service and passion for using fresh ingredients truly sets this place apart. We enjoyed dishes such as mussels, gnocchi with lamb ragu, linguine with seafood, a fantastic fillet of beef with gorgonzola sauce, and of course, a delicious pizza. The portions were generous, so we ended up taking some leftovers home. We highly recommend this restaurant.

I would have to be incredibly desperate to dine at this restaurant again. When we were seated, the loud pop music made it impossible to have a conversation. We ordered lime and lemonade, but the waitress had to go buy the lemonade, causing a significant delay. I requested for the music to be changed and the volume lowered, only to have it replaced by a crying baby and a toddler banging their cutlery on the table constantly. While I understand that children need to eat, there should be boundaries in place in restaurants. Additionally, the staff behind the bar were talking loudly the entire time.
