Pappa Roma - Carta

The place is okay, but we got charged twice for some of the dishes and realised it only at home.

Good pre-Prom dining option offering good value (for central London) and good quality Italian food. Friendly waiting staff and a really fabulous chocolate souffle.

Going on a first date is always a nerve racking experience but Papa Roma, had a nice feel to it, the food was amazing and the price was good value. Both me and my date had a wonderful evening Ver carta

Visited Pappa Roma before going on to a Prom concert. Service was good and menu choice extensive. Has the feel of a genuine Italian restaurant, intimate and friendly. Would certainly go there again if we were in the area.

We made a quick visit to Pappa Roma between early and late Proms. Service was very friendly and quick. The tagliata was not available so we both had the stuffed chicken which was fine. Reasonable value and quite lively on a Saturday night. Worth a try if in the area, we'll go back.

We were a party of 7 with children and as soon as we sat down colouring books and pens arrived. Food arrived quite quickly and great pizza's and manageable children's sized options and small but ok soft drinks range. It was well priced for tourist central and friendly staff and child friendly. Found this on the internet the night before we travelled. Booked a table and it was ready and waiting when we arrived . We were greeted with a smile and service was excellent. The main course came out just before we had finished starter but it made no difference. Food was hot when it arrived and the whole experience was good. Its a pity we don't live closer as I would use it more often. Made a change from the national chains.

We found this restaurant through the internet. It wasn't too far from our hotel so seemed convenient, but what a find. There are so many places to eat in this area but I am glad we dined in this one. We were welcomed and seated by the friendly waitress. The pizza was lovely and freshly cooked. The wine list, although not extensive, was good. Altogether we thought it was good value in relaxed, informal surroundings. Would eat there again.

I ate dinner with a friend at Pappa Roma on a Saturday evening. We ordered a quattro stagioni pizza and a seafood pasta. Both were tasty, and the portions were generous. The prices were very affordable too. The staff member who seated us at first was somewhat detached, but during the meal the staff were helpful and responded to our requests quickly. However, we found the atmosphere very poor. We were seated in a downstairs area that had a huge screen showing a football match. It was noisy and distracting, although to their credit the staff turned the sound to a lower setting when I asked.
