"Was introduced to Pardo Bar from a TravelZoo Coupon that allowed for 2 people to have 2 cocktails each and share an appetizer. I checked out the website for Pardo Bar and thought it looked really great and so we along with another couple purchased the deals. We had tried to make reservations to use the coupon one weekend but they were fully booked, so we really thought with them being so busy all the time it really was a great place. On their website, there are photos of beautiful appetizers and cocktails, etc. When we arrived, we were surprised that the place was not yet busy, we figured it was because it was only 8PM. We automatically thought the inside of the place did not quite match the bright and twinkly photos of interior on the website. The lights were quite bright and the music, while good, was quite quiet.The cocktail menu that we received when we arrived was only a very small portion of the cocktail menu on the website. We ordered cocktails which were all good, but nothing that spectacular.When it came to order the appetizers, we were really disappointed. On the website there are photos of very beautiful small plates and there was nothing at all like this on the menu. There were some standard dinner items, a big Burger, and Pflammkuchen. We ordered 2 Pflammkuchen, which again, were good but just not what we were hoping to have that night.I guess if we had never saw their website, we would have said the place is OK, but not spectacular. After seeing the website, and looking forward to a great evening, to have what we did was very disappointing. Maybe when there are museum functions, it is more lively but I don't think it is a place we will spend much time."

La visita al museo merecía un descanso. Así que pedimos capuchino y pastel y no te arrepentimos. Era un delicioso pastel casero y un capuchino bien preparado a un precio aceptable. El servicio fue rápido y amable. Entonces, ¿qué más podrías pedir?

You normally expect ordinary food and coffee at tourist attractions, but the burgers and coffee at Pardo Bar at K21 museum in Dusseldorf were very good. Burgers were large and incredibly tasty and certainly disappoint. Sat outside on a sunny day in the park that is also part of the cafe - and enjoyed the surrounds and sounds. Highly recommend cafe for a much needed break from the "gallery foot shuffle".

The place is good.. located in a museum.. with a nice ambiance.. sit out is very good when the weather is nice.. we were lucky have nice sunny weather... ordered croissant with nougat and coffee... my friend ordered croissant with chocolate..when the food came.. we were surprised... the croissant was delicious.. but we were not able to decide which of us got the wrong dip.. what i got tasted like chocolate.. i thought nougat was white.. unless the Germans have a different nougat.. my friend and me got the same dip.. but he was not satisfied either it was nutella that we got.. not chocolate.. so.. not a bad breakfast but a bit confusing... coffee as good though.. went for a second round.. :)...

Been there first time since 8 years and have been positively surprised. The bar itself has not changed at all - stylish as always and still great ambiance and a place with fantastic atmosphere. The place is located within a museum but the style is very elegant with lots of colours, mirrors and a 70's style wall deco. Foodwise i was surprised about the high quality, taste and excellence of our dishes. We had a seasonal highlight - German asparagus with baby potatoes and a veal schnitzel, we had the Pardo-Burger with a small salad and dutch fries. Just great nothing else to say. Asparagus on the point and nice together with the veal, melted butter and the baby potatoes. The burger just perfect...
