"I am sitting in my room at the sun inn as I am writing. It's a Sunday. I checked in at 8 15. The one young employee who was in the building was professional but informed me on arrival that the kitchen had closed. Bummer but it is a Sunday. Upon asking when the bar would close he told me 10pm. I decided to go to the shops and buy some cold sausage rolls and a bottle of wine to mitigate the early closing and grabbed a quick single beer in Dalkeith in a bar that closed at 11. My intention was to pay more for somewhere I could have several drinks without driving but I tried to make the best of my origional plan. I got back to the sun inn at 930 to find not a solitary light on and figured I'll watch some TV instead. Only the TV didn't work. I dismounted it after trying to configure settings on the 2 controls. The sky box was not connected sinse it was a flat wall mount and there was only a single accecible hdmi port, out of three, that could be used. That was already oucupied by the fire stick. Now it is sitting on the dresser since it cannot be remounted with both availible devices connected. 40 minutes of fooking around and nothing has changed. The bar is closed. No night porter, no TV, no breakfast and a broken bathtub. All the reasons I paid the extra to come here instead of the cheaper airport option have be removed. The room is nice though. It's as good as an airport one minus the stains on the headboard of the bed."

The dinner menu offered a wonderful selection of dishes, and I particularly enjoyed the Tandoori Chicken, which was truly outstanding. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, making it a must-try. The service was impeccable; the staff were attentive, friendly, and efficient, which really enhanced our dining experience. The ambiance was inviting, though slightly less vibrant than I would have hoped, earning it a solid 4 out of 5. Overall, if you're looking for a delightful evening full of delicious food and great service, I highly recommend this place!"

"After hanging up the phone after booking here I had a good feeling about the service from the off due to the demeanour of the lovely young man Kyle who took my call. He asked if I had a table preference, any allergies and if there was anything else he could help me with regarding my booking. I only had to say my name, date and time of booking once too. Quite rare these days when booking over the phone. I wasn’t wrong, the service was amazing from the moment we stepped inside. We didn’t have to grab anyone’s attention and they weren’t overly hovering. As an ex chef I was blown away with the price, size and quality of the food. It really was so unexpected. We ordered the trio of desserts as we couldn’t decide what to go for and boy they were good. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say it was the best dessert I’ve had in a restaurant for over 3 years!!! We had a bottle of red wine. A pint, an espresso martini, garlic flat bread, hunters chicken, steak pie and the trio of desserts and our total bill was £80. I was so impressed. I can’t wait to go back."

"We came first time to this restaurant, we won't be coming back, starters was ok, the main course came and the paratha was burnt, when I looked at it and I said to the waiter I don't eat burnt food, can you get me another one, he said to me that we asked for it well done, we never said anything like that, he was reluctant to change it, I had to ask him again to change this for us to eat it, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone, if I could give a zero star I would, thank you so much Muskhan for your lovely service x Alishah and Ronnie"

"Food is delicious and exactly what you'd hope from the description. Wait staff were very good with two children aged 2 and under. They also have colouring pencils and kids menu, with a competition on the back to win a £30 voucher each month.
