The meal (31 euros but we are at Saint Jean de luz) is excellent. it is really a pity that the blow to the "great marnier" is the subject of a supplement to the menu, but it is worth it. We had the set menu which was great value and enjoyed some tasty local food in a charming old-fashioned basque setting. They were turning people away (it was Monday so places were closed) so don't forget to book especially if you're travelling in July & August!
