Peyote - Carta

we have been there for a bday party, we knew that it would have been expensive, but if the food if good, i am happy to pay for it. Instead the food was really poor, without flavour, and absolutely not fair for how much we paid. Definetely not reccomended.

I read the reviews and as usual ignored many of them. We only had a short time for lunch, so the staff recommended their favourites. Great fresh guacamole, fantastic tacos and the most delightful empanadas. Forget the poor reviews, treat the staff as you would like to be treated. It was a great lunch

Food: cerviche had NO flavour. Pinto beans and rice tasted like they had come out of a tin. Bad service: got our food one hour after we ordered. We didn’t receive a dish the calamari. The waiter insisted he had ‘put it inside the guacamole’???!!! Never heard this before in my life and argued about it until the cows came home! Will be sticking to mnkyhse/ coya. Ver carta

I am writing this review from a Food Supplier perspective. We have been working with Peyote Dubai for over a year. Peyote is owned by a very wealthy individual. As the restaurant is not doing well, they have shut down the place and not paid any suppliers. Considering the wealth of the owner, this is an extremely unethical act and any client should consider this before spending money in this restaurant!

We had a wonderful experience at Peyote. Came on a weeknight and it wasn't too busy, were seated right away. Service was great- we recieved our dishes quickly one after the other and our server Mario helped us pick the best ones, and really made our experience amazing! There was a live music band which added to the atmosphere. Drinks were also great. Overall, a lovely evening. Would highly recommend the corn side dish- it was so delicious!

I would have loved to try the restaurant last night to write an actual review on the food, but we did not get to. Open Table is still accepting (and confirming!!! reservations but upon arrival, the restaurant was dark as night and dead-bolted shut. Saw another couple after us walk up to the restaurant as if they were also meant to eat here. When we called, there is a message that the restaurant is “under construction” but given what I’ve read about the Dubai location closure, it looks like it’s not just “construction”. Ver carta

Went here with a bunch of friends .... place was already buzzing when we reached .... great atmosphere.... were quickly seated and told what the favorites were by our waitress .... who was super efficient and with it .... the guacamole was just perfect ....the ceviches were great as well ... the lamb was great and so was the calamari .... the corn was excellent as were the potatoes ..... lamb chops and steak was also good .... the only dish I wouldn’t recommend was the beef tacos but hey everything can’t be perfect ... great tapas and great service all around ... would highly recommend the place !!!

I’ve been in this place many times , but I’ve never written a review before !! But this time this spot really deserves my gratitude . So I booked a table on Friday night for a special occasion : my best friend’s bday!!! Since a put my foot in the restaurant we’ve been treated like princesses!!!! A warm welcome from all the staff !!! I asked Dimitri , one of the manager I guess) to design a tasting menu for us because I’m gluten intolerant) , and what we got was absolutely yummy!!!!! We had yellowtail sashimi , chicken tacos , tostada with king crab, arroz with calamari and seabass with coriander sauce !!!! Everything was delicious!!!!!!!! I was invited for dinner to this place. I actually worked in the same street for 1 year and never realised there was a restaurant there. FOOD Extremely tasty food although very small portions, as in like small tapas. We took a mixture of starters and mains to share (everything is meant to be shared) and I must say everything is very tasty. The cocktails were also very cool and good. I cannot comment on price as I didn't pay but I know it was very very expensive, Mayfair style. STAFF/SERVICE Very professional staff, very knowledgeable and helpful when ordering.
