Il Piccolo Drouot - Carta

We had an excellent meal at Il Piccolo. It is a tiny place barely 5/6 tables. But awesome flavours. Everything we ordered was delicious.

Owner is so sweet and friendly._We had a late lunch and didn't feel hungry at all, so we decided to order one pasta and shared with each other.

A pretty and intimate place to have proper Italian food in Paris. Food is really tasty and portions are of a generous size as well. Two more important aspects worth to mention are the cleanliness and the attention to the customers needs. Price wise is...in average with other places... A must go if you are in zone.

Was just after a good, basic pizza for tea and it's exactly what I got. The decor here is rather plain, no real vibes about the place. Very, very small but charming at least. Friendly staff but waiting skills could improve a little. Very fair...prices, menu could perhaps use a revamp in terms of its layout and English translation. Overall good nothing more, nothing less.

Make reservations for lunch! It is a small restaurant and it does a big lunch business. You walk in and a chalkboard is on the table with the specials. I had pasta both times we visited; it was delicious, the best carbonara I had had in ages. Dessert was Limoncello Baba. Oh my goodness! The family is from Puglia, Italy. Plusieurs fois que je déjeune dans ce restaurant en 2 ans, et je me suis toujours régalé ! Les ravioles aux truffes sont très bonnes, les risottos aussi (préparés à la demande donc il ne faut pas être pressé, mais ça vaut le coup). Les pizzas se défendent bien également. L'accueil est toujours agréable. Le restaurant est assez petit et une petite salle à l'étage permet parfois d'être sauvés !

Malheureusement ou heureusement...nous n'avons pas pu tester ce restaurant. Nous l'avions choisi grâce au bons avis du site mais à notre arrivée , salle vide...bizarre... 2 personnes entrain de diner sur le trottoir qui étaient en fait les serveurs complètement alcoolisés... l'un d'eux nous dit de nous assoir où l'on veut mais 5 min après l'autre vient nous dire en titubant que le restaurant est fermé en précisant à son collègue (qui à lui demande s'il est sérieux), " on ne va travailler vu l'état du cuisinier!!"Nous sommes parti illico, vraiment déçu d'avoir perdu du temps à chercher cet endroit .

Went there with my wife, son and his wife on a weekday. Did not have a reservation so went early. Table for 4 was available. Ordered a Margarita pizza...which was really tasty. Then had the appetiser plate which included some really good meats, cheese and...veggies in a nice olive oil. Ordered the house white wine to start, very nice and well priced....had 4 different dishes, Clams with Spaghetti, Lasagne, and two meatball dishes. All were excellent. Had the house red with these dishes and it was easy drinking and reasonably priced. My only complaint is the Limonccello was too expensive, $6 and not cold enough. Ver carta
