Busy when we arrived so had to wait for tables to be cleaned. Posh fish finger sandwich was delicious but the tea was awful. Staff polite.

Expensive a disappointing food. Staff seemed not to care whether we enjoyed the food which was very over seasoned and expensive. Certainly won’t b going back.

Focaccia open sandwiches not brimming with fillings. The chorizo not chunky and meaty just the thin slices normally found on a charcuterie board. Prawn sandwich was ok. But the fries at £2.95 were an insult. Photos to follow.

Found it whilst walking around town looking for a dog friendly cafe. We both had the smaller breakfast and were pleased that the ingredients were decent quality and freshly cooked. Very happy with what we got and would return.

Great location, nice vibe. coffees rather tasteless …made more so by seeing waitress who appeared to be the one in charge) pick up two mugs of coffee to pass to customers putting her fingers on the sides of the cup which people drink from, rather than using the cup handles.

Very very disappointed. Ordered a sandwich when we were asked if we'd like fries too, we said yes please!!!! Awful quality sandwich for £9.50 served with tiny pot of coleslaw. A small handful of fries looked as if they'd been thrown onto the plate from a great distance/height!!!! Total bill for this 2 coffees £18.50 . Never again will we set foot in here

There was only about 10 people inside, who I might add ,had already been served, we sat outside waited 10 minutes no one came out , so my husband went in, the man said I'll be out in a minute. Meanwhile another couple sat down, the lady went inside then came out. We waited another 10 minutes still no one came ,as we got up the guy came out with 2 drinks for the couple sat next to us, so he served her but ignored us appalling behaviour, obviously he doesn't need people's money definitely will not be going here again. We usually go here quite often and noticed the service getting slower be this was terrible, wouldn't of minded if it was really busy and only the fella on but like I said not bus...

Stopped for coffee and hopefully a toasted tea cake. Sat at a table which hadn’t been cleared after the previous customers. When the waiter came to take our order he collected the dirty crockery but made no attempt to wipe the sticky food stained table. Ordered a macchiato from the menu and had to explain what it was. He brought our coffee and knives to butter the tea cakes which we assumed would follow. I asked him if he would mind cleaning the table. He returned with spray disinfectant and a piece of kitchen paper. We just managed to cover our coffees with a hand before he sprayed the whole area. We drank our coffee but no tea cakes appeared. Well where do we start!! went to this place without reading any of the reviews! We ordered a full breakfast and a round of DOORSTEP-toast with Cappuccino and pot of tea! Breakfast:: 2 pieces of Aldi thin bacon undercooked,1 egg, 1 decent sausage, piece of cool, dry, black pudding, slice of DOORSTOP toast as thin as you like and had been defrosted in the microwave cos was so watery you could wring it out, and to top it all a pot of baked beans that were as cold as an Eskimo in the Antarctic! Missus’ DOORSTEP again a fletchers loaf thin slice and defrosted in the microwave! £21-50 ripped off for!
