Pierogarnia - Carta

Been here several times. More expensive than in Poland but pretty authentic. Love the polish musicians that always seem to be practicing here. Always filled with poles.

Cibo semplice ma ottimo e gustosissimo, tutto rigorosamente polacco. Ambiente piccolino ed informale ma con arredato con gusto. Hanno addiruttura il menu in italiano. Si mangia benissimo e si spende poco. Da provare assolutamente.

Not only does this place offer authentic Polish food, they offer some of the best food we had in northern Germany. While the pierogies were a little different than what I grew up eating from my Polish grandma, they were still very good! Worth the visit! Lovely staff. Thank you! Ver carta

Sia i pierogi classici che quelli con funghi e crauti sono ottimi, conditi con una salsina cipollosa e panna acida a parte. La porzione è generosa ma ne avrei mangiati il doppio!Prezzi modico/bassi, probabilmente non vale la pena venirci da molto lontano, ma se siete in zona e/o avete curiosità per la cucina polacca provatelo, non sarete delusi. Chiude alle 22, quindi non andate troppo tardi.

Premetto che siamo arrivati all ultimo minuto in questo locale, curiosi di assaggiare la cucina polacca.. La signora che ci ha accolto ci parlava solo in tedesco e anche molto velocemente..nonostante le abbia chiesto di parlare piano! Abbiamo ordinato due piatti di pierogi misti e due birre.. la birra buona, i pierogi niente di eccezzionale! Il locale super spartano.. insomma niente di imperdibile!

Service and taste of the food are definitely on the upper levels of the ranking though not the highest levels. The price to portions ratio I'd say is something they decided not to pay too much attention to. While the food is very nice the prices they have do not necessarily make your money's worth. Overall a decent option if you're in the neighbourhood and want to branch out from the typical offers around you. Ver carta

If you are hankering for some Pirogie while in Berlin, this is probably the best place to get them I have found. I have to admit, they are not 100% the same as the ones in Poland, but they are homemade. The soups are especially good here. The atmosphere is great, evenings there is often live music. My only complaint is that I find the prices too high for the portions. Of course you can't compare to the cheap prices in Poland, but still. Also, every time I have been here (about 10 so far) there are at least 50-75% Polish guests, which is always a good sign!

We were gonna take a wee trip to Poland via Frankfurt (Oder) to have a bite to eat, but I don't think we'll bother now. Don't get me wrong! These dumplings are probably as authentic as you'll get outside of that great nation, but they just didn't float my goat. They just weren't my cup of tea and tasted a bit like a boiled bridie for all my Scottish cousins, or for you anglophiles a boiled pasty. In fact we were ready and willing to sample other menu items, but the waitress told us the dumplings would be enough. She was right and I generally go for stodge, but this was a 'todge' too far. Which was a pity, coz this is such a great looking place, the reviews are superb and the service was fant...

I met three friends here one incredibly snowy Tuesday evening, because I wanted to make sure I ticked pierogi from my list before I left Berlin. Two of them were very late, so the other two of us got started. I had a delightful juice drink, which was greenish and involved banana (I can’t remember the exact ingredients but it was delicious!) We also chose the beetroot soup with the ‘ears’, or rather the little tortelloni floating inside which was just what we needed on the snowy evening! I really enjoyed that.
