"Nice food but No Staff.One waitress serving Everyone ,taking orders running about like a Mad Woman .Makes for a chaotic atmosphere .Waitress with red hair was so scruffy ,even my Partner commented on Joe dirty her clothes were .T shirt all dirty ,shabby looking track suit trousers that were filthy and all stains .Put us off eating .Her plimsoles were covered in mud as well.There were other people helping on kitchen but the one running about was serving at till then running around taking orders .A few people commented on waiting for food .Every table full plus tables outside with one waitress to cover it .They need to get more staff .Plus smarten up the waitresses clothes .Who wants to eat food served by someone who looks grubby with grubby clothes on .Come on Pine Cone you are making money ,give the staff clean t shirts and smarten them up . Every time anyone said to this waitress that she was busy ,she kept saying No this is a quiet day yet every table was busy .Won't be back as it was chaotic and dirty uniform that was noticed by a few people was off putting .Used to be clean smart waitresses who took time and care putting food on table ."

The toasted egg mayo sandwich was a first for me and really amazing. The food is excellent and very hot. A great escape from Dundee but only minutes away surrounded by farmland. Ver carta

We received a warm and friendly welcome as we entered the cafe and gift shop, the cakes were delicious and the coffee was nice, very good value everything on the menu is reasonably priced , well worth a visit, easy parking too

First time visiting this place, really impressed it's such a pity it's up for sale, hope anewbuyer is found and it remains the same. Managed to buy some gifts as they have a 3rd off everything. Wonderful scenery in the surrounding area.

Had an amazing breakfast this morning as always at The Pine Cone Cafe! The lorne and egg roll was cooked perfectly and the crepe with lemon and sugar was brilliant! Incredible value for money with lovely, attentive staff in a really friendly environment. Can't wait to go back!! Ver carta

Waited 15 minutes before going up to the till asking what’s going on, as the staff were just standing about chatting. Food was below average had better soup from a tin and toasty well that speaks for its self it’s hard going messing that up. Car park can be used a ski slope in the winter months, clutch about blew up on the motor.

great wee caffe, eat and friendly service excellent. although all the girl servers were busy very attentive and very welcome to us. we have a great table for my dad in a wheelchair away from the door. big Christmas business with a good selection of gifts to very cheap trips. will definitely be a hidden gem again. food: 5/5 service: 5/5 atmosphere: 5/5 .more
