"Das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet und typisch italienisch.Das Essen hat uns wirklich gut geschmeckt. Die Kellnerin hat uns freundlich bedient und unsere zusätzlichen Wünsche berücksichtigt Leider gibt es kein Restaurant Parkplatz und man sitzt ein wenig zu nah mit den anderen Gästen. Wer also einen eher ruhigeren Abend verbringen möchte ist dort eher fehl am Platz. Und hat die Lautstärke, sowie die Nähe der anderen Gäste nicht gestört. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und werden auch nochmal kommen. Viele Dank La Rustica."

"Nach dem Lesen der bisherigen Bewertungen hatten wir mit Recht eigentlich etwas mehr erwartet. Realität ist allerdings eine saubere, gute Dorfgaststätte mit gut bürgerlicher Hausmannskost zu angemessenen Preisen. Mehr aber allerdings dann auch nicht. Das Essen hat gut geschmeckt, der Service war zügig und in normalem Rahmen. Wir haben hier jetzt nichts außergewöhnlich herausragend Gutes, aber auch keinen großen Fauxpas erlebt. Die Pizzen waren lecker, die Tiroler Knödel-Varitation auch. Die Beisalate, na ja, teils mit Fertigware aus dem Einmachglas ergänzt. Das Jäger Sahne Schnitzel leider flach wie eine Zeitungsseiten auf Tellergröße geklopft und in Sahnesoße ertränkt. Gut, die Pilze und die Spätzle waren zum Ausgleich frisch. Die Karte bietet für jeden etwas, auch Fisch, aber die voraus gegangenen Lobpreisungen konnten wir nicht nachvollziehen. Wir waren mit allem zufrieden, aber eine solche Gaststätte kann man auch allen anderen Orts finden. Ein zweites Mal zieht es uns jetzt nicht unbedingt dort hin."

"We have an egg factory near where we live, and I wish they made beer. What a great pint. It is a beautiful afternoon here overlooking the square in Saint Johann, who observes the World Pass. Staff are freendly, food is simple, but well worth...a go. the St Johanner Sausage served with a role, mustard and fresh horshradish goes great with a beautiful cold beer. Outside there are a few flies, but it's summer and who can blame them for wanting a pint. Alos Austrians still like smoking and so if you sit outside, people around you can smoke, but if you don't like, the interior is very nice and cooler when it's really hot."

"Der Post Markt bietet in sehr angenehmer Atmosphäre allerlei lokale "Schmankerln". Man kann aus einer großen Palette von Produkten aus der Region wählen. In einem Teil des Lokals befinden sich einige Sitzplätze, wo Kaffee, Wein und verschiedenen Kleinigkeiten direkt konsumiert werden können. Besonders zu empfehlen sind die Frühstücksvariationen, die italienischen Vorspeisen und die Flammkuchen. Im Sommer bietet sich auch die herrliche, sonnige Terrasse zum Verweilen an. Ist jedenfalls einen Besuch wert - direkt im Zentrum von St. Johann gelegen."

"we had decided to go to the penzinghof on Sunday at short notice. the restaurant was well visited. we were greeted by the chefin friendly and personally and led to the table. a beautiful table with a view of the wild imperial( mountain ). we ordered the Kresseschau soup, variations of bruschetta, as well as from the calf and tatar from the calf to marinated spade. dessert composition of passion fruit with white chocolate. also very fine. great wine card and a really nice charming condition. 2 small critique points to the conclusion: the bread selection was very modest and already quite empty when we came ( 19:30).The bratkartoffeln to the woner were unfortunately not crispy.We definitely come back, because the penzinghof has been a reliable and constant culinary address for many years with a good price performance ratio."
