Great menu and never to disappoint, the tastes are always brilliant, and we usually just have takeaway but we came into dine, the staff were very happy and helpful.

This is the best takeaway we’ve had. The food is so full of flavour and even though it’s a 10 minute journey home it’s always still super hot by the time we get home. We would recommend it to anyone. It’s our new favourite.

This Thai is one of the best I have tried in the South West the service was great and the choice was fabulous. When next visiting Newton Abbot we will be back without doubt. The wine was reasonable but the ONLY criticism is that there wasn't much choice by the glass.

On Holidays in Devon and we stopped off at Newton Abbott for a few days, we came across this Thai Restaurant, and can honestly say the food was AMAZING, really tasty , service was ATTENTIVE, and food very well priced, The food was that good we went back the second night, for a feast, We all loved it..

Superb food, great service, really friendly and great value for money. The mixed starter was lovely and there was plenty of it, the mains were again lovely, especially the sweet and sour chicken, one of the best I can remember having, including the drinks the bill was incredibly reasonable. Thank you for a great time.

Having been to Thailand and fallen in love with the food. We were absolutely blown away with the authenticity of Pinto Thai's food. Massaman curry is my absolute favourite and in eating it I could close my eyes and be taken back to Bangkok. The service was very natural and with the the right amount of attention. The fact that they also do a takeaway service means this will become a regular place to eat in the future.

Pinto may have switched to takeaway only, but it has maintained its high standards. The menu looks a little overwhelming (it runs to 68 items! but has some brilliant options. We had the Option C (Vegetarian and Vegan selection which includes the absolutely delicious Tofu in Choo Chee Curry Sauce, the brilliantly tasty basil leaf fried rice and the excellent Green Curry Mixed Veg. At seventeen quid per person, it will feed you for two or three meals , which is super value, I think. The meat eaters in the family enjoyed their food too. Highly recommended.

Fantastic to see that Pinto Thai is open again for dining in. They stopped the restaurant service during Covid to focus on takeaway but as of late march 2023 are open again to diners. Situated on Newton Abbot 's infamous 'Take Away Alley ', this wipes the floor with all the other restaurants on Queen Street even the very good Ghurkha. The menu is extensive and has something for everyone (this vegan is extremely well catered for) but when they say a dish is 'three chilli ' spicy, they mean it, so tread carefully! Delightful staff and, trust me, it 's a cut above any other Thai in south Devon.

At last, just when we had given up on Newton Abbot food outlets we discovered this Thai jewel. We moved here nearly three years ago and have been disappointed with every Indian restaurant here (especially Ghurkha Chef) and sadly all Fish and Chips outlets none of which can compare with those in Torbay. But Pinto Thai was 'magic '. Proper chicken , nicely carved, fragrant spices, delicate rice, proper vegetables well prepared and cooked. Subtle flavourings. There were five of us really enjoying different meals and all of us so pleased that finally we 'd found somewhere we will return to in Newton Abbot.
