Pizza Express - Carta

Terrible experience. The tables were dirty and there was no service at all. We ended up leaving after waiting for 20 minutes. The waitress did everything except serve us.

The service at this restaurant was extremely poor. Our order was forgotten and when we inquired about it, they pretended it was being prepared. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks and 40 minutes for a simple pasta dish. I would recommend avoiding this place.

Six of us celebrated my son's birthday on Thursday evening and were lucky enough to sit in the garden. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and it was made particularly special by our delightful waitress, Barbara, who was so kind and attentive throughout our time there. Thank you. Ver carta

We came as a party of 5 No problem place was half empty it took 4 hours to make my pizza When it came it was Hot but I asked the woman What took so long She just ignored me I am a paying customer I deserve special treatment The chefs were too busy putting on a show and making a racket and the manager Was too busy Talking politics with the delivery drivers honestly I would like a refund of 108 Pounds

We visit this restaurant several times a year and never have anything other than a pleasant, enjoyable meal. The staff are friendly from the moment we walk in to the moment we leave. Drinks and meals arrive quickly and are always delicious. The restroom is clean and well maintained. Even better in the summer months when you can sit outside in the garden. No hesitation to recommend to friends and family.

This has got to be the worst Pizza Express in the UK. The service was terrible - a rude waitress informed us that they had run out of various items including bolognaise, houmous, crayons, Negroni, and egg. To make matters worse, they forgot one order in our group and only brought it 20 minutes after everyone else had finished eating, despite being reminded multiple times. This branch used to have charm, but has now taken a nosedive. We overheard other tables also complaining about their orders. Stay away from this place at all costs. Ver carta

Despite a lovely location, we were disappointed by our meal here. It was not cheap by any means but we were served pizzas that were evidently not cooked fresh. Pizzas even tasted worse than the supermarket range Pizza Express sell it was as if they had been cooked from frozen with a soggy base. Very unimpressed that upon ordering a single portion of dough balls they served us the double portion (which cost twice as much) that we hadn’t asked for. We have been many times, but sadly the standard has dropped. Hence the low rating! We were told a week ago we should book online and if we wanted a table outside we should ring on the morning. We rang on the 9/8/2029 to be told by a very unhelpful manager that this was not correct! We explained it was for a Birthday neal, but he did not care. When we arrived the restaurant was EMPTY, apart from one couple inside who left shortly after we arrived. No atmosphere and why the refusal on the phone to do as we had been promised? Lovely cosy branch, hidden away. Attracts a nice local crowd that I assume live nearby given location. Over half full on a Wednesday evening. Lovely relaxing atmosphere. I wanted something healthy so had my favourite which was the niçoise salad. Delicious less the dough sticks (I eat a high protein diet). To be honest, the salad is filling and quite substantial alone. Really nice with the dressing. Branch was clean with indoor and outdoor seating. They have changed the layout inside which is nice so they have some high tables too. Nice for solo diners like me. Had the table to myself, lovely relaxing dinner.
