We just happened upon Pizza Express. Great find! Good options and the service was excellent. Prices were great and the portions more than adequate.

The food at this restaurant is delicious. Despite its appearance as a typical pizza place, it actually leans more towards fine dining than casual takeaway. The service is quick and efficient. It's definitely worth a visit.

Conveniently placed just off the Royal Mile near the Scottish Parliament. Same setup as other Pizza Expresses with the same menu. The service was good and the staff polite. I expect one or two were Uni Students. Can be noise with children early tea time. Ver carta

This is our nearest Pizza Express. Had not been in for a while, but had a voucher for an offer. The range of food is good, the kid's menu wholly adequate, and the staff are great. Not a huge fan of chains, but this place has the feel of a local restaurant as it is tucked away behind the Royal Mile.

Another above average Italian restaurant in the lower section of Edinburgh. We had the mushroom pizza and an order of the garlic bread. Both were above average. They have indoor and outdoor seating and are dog friendly. They don't have any draft beers but have a decent selection of about bottles or cans ranging from GBP per.

Such poor service. The server was aggressive and rude. I understand they were understaffed, but it's unforgivable to take it out on customers. Supervisor was full of the same excuses and no apology for plates being slammed or rude comments made to diners. It was so shocking, all my table could do is laugh. Waited two hours for food, one of us never recieved a drink and we were constantly reminded that it was our fault for coming on what would have otherwise been a quiet night's. Ver carta

The service at this restaurant was terrible. The server was aggressive and rude. While I understand they were short-staffed, it is unacceptable to be disrespectful towards customers. The supervisor also made excuses and did not apologize for plates being slammed or rude comments made to diners. The whole experience was so shocking that all we could do was laugh. We waited two hours for our food, one of us never received a drink, and we were constantly reminded that it was our fault for coming on what would have otherwise been a quiet night.

We are fans of pizza express and usually go to Glasgow and receive excellent service. The man that served us in the Holyrood pizza express was obnoxious and rude, lots of huffing and puffing and dramatic gestures for routine requests. Downright poor customer care and bad manners. He made a mistake with my coffee and then expected me to accept it anyway. When I declined this, he had his usual rant and returned with the same coffee. I wouldn’t return to this branch because of the poor service from this individual. To add insult to injury, we had an automatic service charge added to our bill as we were a table of would not have chosen to tip!!!!

We are regular patrons of Pizza Express and typically have a great experience at the Glasgow location. However, our recent visit to the Holyrood branch was marred by terrible service from a rude and obnoxious server. He was impatient and made dramatic gestures for simple requests, displaying a lack of courtesy and professionalism. When he made an error with my coffee, he expected me to accept it without apology. After I declined, he became argumentative and brought back the same incorrect coffee. The poor service from this individual has deterred me from returning to this particular branch.
