"We were recommended this restaurant by a local and the pilgrimage to get there up windy road was one thing, when we arrived. the welcome wasn’t exactly great, even though we had booked. They appeared quite busy, and we were shown to our table of two, the menu was in Italian fine . My wife had to translated as she’s Italian, we ordered an antipasto for two, which came to separate plates, so one plate was actually enough waitress could of mentioned , some local cold meats and some funny tasting buckwheat fritters vegetarian not to my taste … My main was lamb rack with fried potatoes apparently grilled vege appeared frozen … lamb was nothing special and you could of been anywhere in world with rustic presentation… wife didn’t order main course . I was still hungry and ordered ‘deer ragu pasta’… was okay a tomato-less bolognese style. Tiramisu for dessert… plate was cold, so obviously those were pre-made and stored in fridge ready for service… 64:50€ for nothing special… Personally, I don’t know how they are number three on TripAdvisor rankings for this local place, and I certainly w,ouldn’t make the pilgrimage to this restaurant but everyone has an opinion… Service wasn’t great either and Waitress appeared disinterested, with zero customer service. The annoying thing for me, a lot of the customers were having steak tartare which wasn’t on the menu. Apparently you have to pre-order so personally I thought that was wrong."

"This place is not in the city center. It is only a 8 min walk. It is for locals. The service was excellent. They spoke English and the pizza and pasta were perfect. If u find yourself in this part of the world. You should visit this place."

"Pizzeria ristorante che offre 2 sale interne e una veranda dove poter gustare una gran varietà di piatti sia per il lato pizza che per il lato ristorante. Abbiamo optato per la pizza e devo dire che c'è ne sono veramente tante tra cui scegliere, la pizza era ben guarnita e non sottilissima come alcune che sono veline, il ristorante alla sera chiude prima della pizzeria che arriva a mezzanotte. Come dessert dove anche qui c'è una bella scelta abbiamo optato per il classico limoncino e ci è stato chiesto se lo volevamo con o senza vodka. Preso senza ma non capendo bene il perché. La sorpresa è arrivata quando invece del classico bicchierino ci è stata portata una tazza da cappuccino su un piattino come da foto che è veramente buona. Ottima accoglienza del personale prezzi un po' sopra la media ma in vacanza ci può stare."

"Excellent dinner with typical products of Valtellina, in particular the really good lazzoccheri, a pleasant surprise never having tasted them. Red wine of the perfect Valtellina, however the glass was less full than the glass I usually drink, but this did not remove anything to the taste The price conforms to the menu, just and not expensive. Atmosphere of the charming place in a period building."

"We chose this restaurant to have a dinner on our second night in Tirano. The food was ok (not too pricy, which is, perhaps, this restaurant’s the only plus). The waiter (a man with a moustache) for some reason seemed annoyed to see us and later in the evening a little rude. Definitely not the service you would apprechiate on a family dinner night. The main course (octopus) was served lukewarm (terrible). The wines we ordered were good as well as one of the dishes (that is the reason I rate this place 2/5 and not 1/5)."
