"I was back from Maranello after an amazing day at Prancing Horse Scuderia where my Italian friend driving me in Formigine at this Enoteca Romana. I know well the Amatriciana or other special pasta.. but this was so weak and swimming in tomato , guanciale was dead somewhere. antipasti fiori di zucca was great really. As enoteca large choice of wine but the super suggest Merlot was something suffering of a lack of decanter ... the young lady may don t know where was it. Salmon its not Romano and my Friend was wrong at the same time that choice this kind of marinate carpaccio. By the way, the place is nice but crowdy when full of people inside and service is good.but my gosh we are in Italy and this people declare to be romano enoteca and food.. only the Prince Totti picture win in this place. There is something better some where."

"for many years I come to this unique place. there is no other on the planet. it is next to the house of maestro . he has eaten here, has brought his friends here, celin dion, julio iglesias sting zucherro and like many others. here they serve the luciano's favorite food, no matter what they order, they can't go wrong. luca , is familiar everywhere on the plaza and friendly welcome all guests. the young serve you as home. the culatello comes from zibello, the pasta is made to house, parmegiano is a few hundred meters away in the azienda agricola. everything is perfumed by authenticity and the spirit of maestro is impregnated in the toren. it is an incomparable gastronomic joy."

"What a shame. I’ve been here a few times now and whilst the surroundings are great and the place is really busy, it just is not consistent enough. Firstly they appear to be celebrating their popularity just a little too much, they seem to delight in turning people away because they are busy. Trouble is, I’ve seen them do this to one couple and then accomodate another just a few minutes later. How hard is it to say “nothing free now, wait here and we will accomodate you when we can”? They seem to have the same consistency with phone reservations. A no one minute and a yes a few hours later. The food? Ah yes. Again, a great pizza last week, this week three sloppy and slightly burned (bad) ultra thin (good) pizzas. The delivered pizzas were not quite what we ordered (and we are Italian, so no trouble with the language) but we just could not face sending them back. You just can’t be certain you are going to have a great meal. All in all, they need to up their game. On a good day this is a five star place, on a bad day you just wish you had gone somewhere else. Judge for yourself, if it’s still busy in six months you will know they hit the sweet spot."
