Pizzeria Mimmo U Santo

We love this place and it has been our go-to Italian for years. Friendly staff, open late, and great pizza. We also order salads, pasta, and enjoy their home made ice cream.

You can choose any pizza you want with vegan cheese for 2€ more but it is worth it, cause it tastes really good! They extra write on the menu that the dough is 100% vegan. They are also super friendly!

In Neusser Strasse there are many restaurants. You can choose between vegan, german, italian or japanese food. I chose italian. It was a good choice. I eat lasagna. It was home made, a very good portion and really tasty. The service was good and there is wifi. Ver carta

I was there for a fast dinner with the friend but we stayed a little bit longer than we have planned. It is full of people and guests but the staff know what to do. We were served quickly and nicely. And the food... just as someone would imagine some Italian cuisine. I recommend it!

Service was not good. At the end of the meal we wanted ice cream. In 10 minutes nobody was ever in sight. We left.Pizza was ok. The bottom was too burnt for my taste (and to give to my kid to eat).There are puzzles and toys, for kids, so that was a nice surprise.We were not offered a chari for our 3 yr old.

Wir kommen regelmäßig meine Tochter hat Zöliakie und reagiert auf kleinste „Krümel“. Italiener mit gemischten Küchen klappen bei ihr an sich nie. Hier aber schon. Sie hatte noch nie Beschwerden. Jemand aus der Familie hat Zöliakie und sie kennen sich aus. Die Speisekarte ist sehr gut. Es gibt auch glutenfreie Eiswaffeln und auch einiges an Dessert. Und glutenfreies Perroni. Ver carta

Even though it calls itself a pizzeria, this is actually an authentic trattoria straight out of the streets of Italy. We did not have the pizza because the eggplant parmiagiane caught our eye and it is so rare to see this dish these days. And there was the gnocchi in black olive pesto. They were both heavenly!!! This is actually a neighborhood place away from the center, but if I lived in Cologne, this would be my regular haunt for my Italian fix.

I don't usually write many reviews but honestly I feel compelled to write about how warm and accommodating the service was at this restaurant. I have a gluten intolerance and they baked small gluten free bread rolls for me to have with my appetiser for free! I had a gluten free salmon cannelloni which was served quickly (even though the restaurant was packed out!) and was delicious. If you want a GF pizza, please note you have to contact them a day in advance for that! Prices were very reasonable indeed. My boyfriend's pizza was 10 euros I believe whilst my main dish was 14,50. Altogether our appetiser, main and drinks came to 50 euros total for the two of us.

I found this place rather accidentally because I was visiting a concert nearby and needed to have dinner before, but holy moly, they do make amazing pizza! The place is a very friendly, classic Italian, family owned restaurant (that also serves meat and dairy products), but they offer vegan cheese on every pizza (and the dough is vegan anyway) so there are plenty of vegan options to choose from (they also have pasta of course). I had a Pizza Romana with mushrooms and artichokes and some additional olives, and this was SO freakin‘ good.
