"Stopped here for lunch and was happy! Atmosphere: this is a small restaurant with limited seating. Upon entering, there is a small counter to the left from which you may order to do items. Seating is on the right. It is a nice, comfortable restaurant. Staff: the waitress was very attentive and polite. She ensured we had enough drinks and made sure to follow up on us frequently. Food: Each of us ordered something different, pizza slices, salad, spaghetti carbonara, and Flammkuchen. Every single one of us enjoyed our meal and I was exceptionally happy with the spaghetti as I had not been able to find any this good in a long time. They have a large selection of items for reasonable prices. This restaurant is definitely a great place to stop while you're walking through the small streets of Cochem doing some shopping or sight seeing!"

Had one of the best risotto's I'd ever eaten here for less than 13 euros! Great pizza too. Friendly staff. Worth a visit.

Good atmosphere and friendly staff. The biggest problem in Cochem is that there are few restaurants where the food is tasty and not just fine. This is an exception and simply has tasty food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Ver carta

I had the lasagna for dinner and my wife the tortelline. Food was good and warm but lasagna was quite oily. Service was fast and younger staff spoke good english without hesitation. Unfortunately, just cash payment even though is 2017! For under 10 euro meals, the place was pretty good!

Hello everyone, was there today with my girlfriend. Two different pizzas, both very well topped, with FRESH mushrooms. A starter for us also came with two plates, great. Drinks came quickly, as did the order in which we ate. Okay, drinks are over four euros, but so be it. Overall we were very satisfied and I'm a little sorry that we didn't go here straight away and let other reviews guide us. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Ver carta

The 4 stars are for my pasta. Went with my boyfriend and his parents ya while on vacation. We sought this place out due to the high ratings. Pasta 4.5 stars I had the carbonara and it was creamy and so well seasoned and pasta cooked perfectly. HUGE portion and I even needed to take some home. Pizza 2.5/3 stars While the toppings were ok the crust in the middle was soggy. Very basic. NOTE: cash only!! Most places in Cochem are cash only so annoying so bring Euros.

"I read some reviews and heard from friends that this was thé place to eat in Cochem am Mosel, so we were very excited to find the restaurant near empty on our arrival as we had expected a wait. There was nobody to greet us as we walked in so after waiting politely waiting at the entrance for a bit we decided to seat ourselves awaiting the the host, waiter/waitress to come and greet us.It took another 5 minutes for the waitress to show up. As soon as she showed up she kindly requested us to move from the cozy booth-like spacious table to a smaller wooden table. Since the entire restaurant was empty, with the exception of one gentleman and it was about an hour before closing we did not see her point to keep the large table for non-guests so we kindly declined. The frauleins entire attitude changed and we could hear her screaming and yelling in the kitchen to the chef. She then proceeded to vent her grief to the other patron in German. One might imagine her surprise when I kindly informed her that I was able to understand her conversations ( I am Dutch so I understand the language ) and did not appreciate her treating us this way. Being used to American customer service I do lower my standards somewhat but to be told smack about a semi-professional in a small town restaurant in the middle of nowhere is not something I accept. We were looking forward to taste the local food but were quite frankly concerned that this would come with some non-sanitary condiments."
