We stopped here on our way to Inverness. Delicious food, great staff, spotlessly clean. Well worth stopping off at, if you're passing!

Lovely warm welcome on freezing cold Sunday morning. Great value full Scottish Breakfast. Plates over flowing with bacon egg sausage beans mushrooms black pudding etc

Fab wee place that we visited 3 times in 2 days! My boys loved the breakfast rolls and Mr Whippy style ice cream served in bowls. My lunch, coffee and cake was delicious. Will be back next time we’re up!

Stopped here for lunch I ordered a baked potato and my partner went for a wrap. Both meals were delicious and good value for money (big portion sizes). Service was very friendly and welcoming, would definitely go back if we were ever in the area.

Back in Golspie again, so pleased that Poppies is still there and as good as ever. Same fantastic food , and 1st class service. Great value, and none stop smiles from the girls. We can't fault anything about Poppies, spotlessly clean. In Hospice or passing through well worth stopping off.

We discovered this wonderful cafe while staying in Golspie for the week. The staff were incredible and made us feel extremely welcome. We also had lunch there a few times, and it was well presented and delicious. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone passing through Golspie.

I purchased two cheese scones to go from this restaurant for £5. When I opened the bag later in the day, I was disappointed to find that they were flat and more closely resembled Aberdeen butteries. Although they were tasty, I felt that they were not a great value at £2.50 each. I would recommend trying the scones at Milk and Honey in Dornoch, as they are larger in size and less expensive.

Really lovely menu with something for everyone. The Jamaican Sweet Potato soup was delicious! Sandwiches were delightful. And the full Scottish breakfast was excellent. We were 4 adults and an older child and we booked a table on the morning to make sure there was space. Glad we did as it was quite busy. Coffee was very good quality. Everything deathly made and the staff were really kind and accommodating. Cakes looked AMAZING but we were too full! Highly recommend for breakfast or lunch.

We recently returned to the cafe after a long absence due to the pandemic, and we were pleased to find that it was still open and serving delicious food. We ordered a plain jacket potato and a chilli beef burrito, both of which were excellent. The potato was fluffy on the inside with a crispy skin and came with plenty of butter. Both meals came with a side salad and homemade coleslaw, which were also very tasty. For dessert, we had caramel pancakes and cherry pie, both of which were delightful. We highly recommend the thick milkshakes as well. The staff welcomed us warmly and the cozy interior made for a pleasant dining experience.
