Prater Beer Garden - Carta

in berlin: in the prater garden they are huge, excellent from calf and served with gurkensalat and lukewarm kartoffelsalat. very simple.

Lovely stop here for a beer and a bratwurst while visiting the Berlin Wall Memorial. It was quick and convenient. Not crowded in the afternoon.

very nice atmosphere, although it was Monday night. we tried different dishes and they were delicious. the beer they do is one must. If they want to visit a place where they want to stop, I recommend prater in berlin. we were in the restaurant. probably the garden is really nice in summer.

Went here through the week, loads of space, beer was excellent and really good value, traditional food served which is also excellent value. Literally no one on their phones which was weird but also nice. Easy to walk into the building site before the entrance...though, we thought it was closed and nearly left!! Glad we didn't. Ver carta

Recommended by various friends, we went to Prater after a trip to the flea market at Mauerpark, which is minutes walk away. It was an unusually hot sunny late October day but the lovely beer, (I had Weissbeer, my wife Pilsner), sitting on tree...shaded benches and people just chatting and chilling left us with a warm beery fuzz. Another one you must visit when in Berlin.

What a throwback to old Berlin and beer garden culture. We were in the hall versus the garden due to weather but it was still a lot of fun sitting at long tables with strangers enjoying each other, great beer and old style das schmekt...food. The place is an institution and old school fir such a hip neighbourhood. Photos show how extensive and we'll visited it is in more temperate weather. Do go.

Visited here early in the afternoon on a weekday. Weren't very many people there yet, so plenty of tables to choose from. I didn't order any food though it did look delicious. I did order a beer, though, and it was tasty! Inexpensive, too....I could tell the venue is a great place to hang with friends for some beer and food. Would like to go back and try the food, perhaps when there's an event, like a band or something. Ver carta
