"If you like old-fashioned restaurants where the amount and type of food is more important than artistic arrangement, then this is the place for you. I put my visit as March but I've not been there for over years; however, recent reviewers clearly...describe the same standard of service that I knew. The food is traditional German and of the old Prussian farmhouse variety simple, extremely well-cooked and delicious. Their beer (it used to be Warsteiner) is excellent, they have a large selection of wines, and nearly always offer you a Schnapps or Korn on the house to finish off. The service is second to none. The decor is dark with odd art pieces, a wonderful old grandfather clock which chimes every quarter hour and old Prussian artefacts. It simply doesn't come any better than this. Incidentally, they serve the largest Eisbein I have ever encountered!"
