"The pub itself is very nice with cosy corners and definitely is dog friendly, so if you just want to have a quiet drink after a day of exploring it's lovely. Where it's let down is around the food. The options available consisted solely of burgers unless you ordered off the kids menu (which had some really good portion sizes to be fair), however, the burgers were not the best and we were missing the sides to go with it. Also the service times were ambiguous where the signs outside indicated service until 8pm, however, on the night in question service stopped at 7pm, which is pretty early to be closing considering they were the only location in the village serving food that was dog friendly."

Stoped in for an afternoon pint and ended up staying for dinner. Pizza was delicious and very friendly staff. 5 stars from me. Would recommend stopping in for a feed if you get a chance.

We ate here twice after ignoring the moaning reviews, good value prices and our expectations were exceeded. It’s pub grub but non the worse for that, priced sensibly and what we had was well cooked.

Absolutely shocked to find this pub serving Australian Beef for Sunday lunch, we are in the heart of Wales where some of the best beef is reared, why are they not serving locally produced food, how is this sustainable!!!! Off to find some local Welsh beef

Cute pub, idyllic setting with a view of the mountains from the pub garden, but £3 for a pint of plain soda water absolute rip off! When I questioned it I got told by the very stroppy server I don 't make the prices ... By all means stop in if you 're feeling flush but else I wouldn 't bother

Had a lovely impromptu stay at this warm and friendly hotel after arriving in Beddgelert only to find that our accommodation was cancelled. We were so thrilled to get a room here at the last minute and to not have to drive back home again. The room was basic, but clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were so warm and helpful. We didn't eat here on this occasion, however we did enjoy some drinks in the garden area. Thanks so much to the team for accommodating us at such late notice and for your friendly and hospitable service.

We had an overnight stay here when we were passing through. Beautiful location and our room was really nice and well appointed with everything we needed. Our service was really good with our check in and bar service. Very friendly and helpful. Food is a huge letdown though unfortunately. Burger patty was burnt black all around and the fish and chips for £17.95 consisted of one thin piece of fish with a thick coating of oily batter. Quite expensive for the poor quality of the food. I would definitely recommend staying here, but I would also definitely recommend not eating here.

Went to Beddgelert on a Friday, that was our first mistake as it was like a ghost town. The second mistake was going in the Prince Llewellyn for food, although there wasn't any other choice. The food arrived very quickly after ordering, which should have been an indication of quality, unfortunately it wasn't the nicest of food. The baguettes were white and stodgy, the tuna mayo was tasteless, the coleslaw looked like Iceland's finest and the chips were obviously out of the freezer. Presentation was none existent and there was way too much marge on the baguettes. For what we were charged I felt ripped off. At least the dog enjoyed the food as she needed up eating most of it.
