I learned a lesson here about first impressions. We needed somewhere to eat, early evening with a dog. I had my sights set on Dylan's but they didn't have a table. The Prince of Wales turned out to be a superb alternative. Very friendly and accommodating staff and pie and chips to die for, a lucky find for us! The pub was very busy when we arrived but the staff were very helpful especially Lexi and Freya who served us. Lexi especially was very interactive with us and engaged in humorous banter with us. The food was very well presented and warm and tasty as well as being reasonably priced. The tip we left was worth every penny. Thank you for making our brief stay so enjoyable.

We thought maybe serving eight adults and five grand kids would be a challenge for the serving staff. Nothing could have gone smoother and nothing was too much trouble. They ensured we got all meals and drinks very quickly after they'd been ordered Oh, and the food is really really good and reasonably priced. If we go back to Criccieth we will definitely have a meal and drinks at The Prince of Wales. Lovely little pub in cricceth North Wales with a lovely atmosphere and the food was nice and filling after a walk on the beach. Tried the roast dinner and it was decent, felt the gravy was out of a tub, would have topped the meal off lovely with lovely a nice meat juice gravy. Kids ate southern fried chickens and beef burgers and had no complaints. Also the kids lasagne was nice with a Herby flavour. Sprouts were rock hard though and stuffing couldn't had a bit longer in the oven to give it a crispier edge. Would recommend and will go back .
