Visited twice recently within a few weeks. Standard has dropped in the kitchen. Steak in pie has some very hard bits as if frozen before, Crumble on the second visit was not cooked in the container as before but simply compiled, apple and sultanas, the crumble added but not cooked together. Village Pub with tasty home cooked food and decent portion sizes. Beavertown neck oil on draft. Decent Sunday roasts. My favourite desert has got to be the brownie or sticky toffee pudding!! The landlords Claire and John are lovely Vegetarian options: Normally 2 or 3 options to choose from Parking: Normally plenty of parking. First time visit ordered cod and chips the cod was battered but the fish inside was very wet didn’t enjoy at all my husband ordered a starter barbecued chicken wings and for main a small Liver and bacon when we got our food no starter to be seen the waitress apologised she forgot to order it my husband said he will still have it within 5 minutes it was served stone cold we sent it back didn’t want anymore I don’t know what sort of chef they have there but not experienced I know because I am an experienced chef so awful Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Ver carta
