"Nous sommes venus dîner à Graines et Garenne cet été, la terrasse est très agréable. Les plats choisis étaient délicieux, en quantités suffisantes. Mention spéciale pour les sauces très parfumées. A chaque fois le poisson était très bien cuit. Les plats proposés sont originaux mais basés sur de bons produits de terroir. Pour le dessert, j'ai un peu moins apprécié mais je suis difficile. Le service était très agréable et à l'écoute. Je recommande sans hésiter cette belle adresse dans notre belle campagne charentaise !"

"Patronne du restaurant désagréable avec les clients par contre les serveuse sont adorables. Repas trop chers, le boeuf est dur et sans saveur et les plats sont servis froid, le beurre sur le pavé ne fond même pas.....l'impression de déranger, la serveuse a posé l'addition sur la table avant même d'avoir fini notre dessert. (22 heures )ce n'est pas tard....Ha oui aussi,dépêchez vous de finir votre plat sinon on vous l'enlève. Nous sommes généralement pas difficile mais là nous ne reviendrons plus."

"restaurant located in a beautiful place by the water, surrounded by locks, bike rides, boats, or on foot there are common is really a place to relax. on the restaurant the terrace is large shaded, the restaurant is old. about the meal there is a formula à la carte, d' résistance, or salads, or dessert. we had taken a slice with fries and salad for , the dish is simple but copyy and good , idem for desserts . with aperitif , dish, dessert , carafe of wine , coffee so returns to a reasonable price. regarding the service, the waitress is listening and really friendly. frankly a place to simply make with a quiet family to relax."

"Accueil parfait, très petite carte donc peu de choix. Pour mon épouse un thon blanc au sésame totalement insipide avec des frites maison très colorées mais pas savoureuses, elle n'a pas fini! Moi, une bavette cuite comme demandée avec les mêmes frites dont c'était sûrement le x ème bain, le tout, accompagné d'un jus ou sauce beaucoup trop réduit avec des oignons. J'ai terminé avec une petite tarte au citron meringuée très .... industrielle et beaucoup trop sucrée..... C'était mieux avant!"

"My friends and I were recently touring round France and needed to stop for lunch, we came upon the small town of Chateauneuf and found Chez Ludo. Being lunch-time in France, where the 2 hour lunch-break is still in full swing, we walked into Chez Ludo and found a delightfull restaurant nearly full. We were seated at the last table and were the only Brits in there. Our French is not the best but we are able to get by. We went for the plat de jour with a choice of fish or steak. We all chose the steak which came with salad and the most delicious chips I've tasted in ages and a carafe of local red wine,followed by a choice of cheese or various scrummy deserts. The service was quick and as our table was close to the kitchen, we were able to see the chef producing hot plates of food, all under control and no shouting. It's a reminder of what is wrong with British lunch times, bolting down food, staying at your desk, just to keep your job. Vive la France. Enjoying simple but delicious food all for 12 euros each. Marvellous."
