"Ordered 2 children's meal's which came a lot sooner than all the adult meals. We had already astablished that the chips were not cooked in fish oil beforehand It became apparent that 1 of the child's meal was fish instead of chicken...we told them of this,they did offer to change but the child declined as they'd nearly finished most of the other food on plate and they were embarrassed (it wasn't until her Mum asked that we discovered it was fish) I pointed out to waiter it could have been dangerous as you were already aware of the fish allergy in the party When the adult meals arrived we thought that we'd ordered children's meal in error given the size of them,not very hot to be fair considering how long we had waited but we didn't say anything(all same food) as we just couldn't be bothered with another complaint We had to tell the server twice what we were drinking on arrival and still one drink did not come as requested but couldn't be bothered to wait to have it changed I have to say they did take price of said child's meal off bill. We decided not to have desert and left still hungry and half the party are not even big eaters. Won't be returning No pictures as not worthy of pictures Dietary restrictions: Asked if chips were cooked in fish oil so obviously there was an allergy in the party but still a member of party was served fish instead of chicken. "We eat here more than I should publicly admit....The food and service are always spectacular! The menu has something on it for everyone, we are still finding things we haven't tried and end up loving. The specials are a great compliment and always something scrummy if nothing on the menu quite fits the mood (which is rare! . We have also had many special occasions here and are continuously impressed and our guests always leave raving. Luigi, Julia and their team and so wonderful-you will never regret a meal here!"

"Following TripAdvisors high rating we booked up for a weekday evening meal for our Family. The pub is in a quaint corner of a beautiful historic town, the decor is eclectic and bohemian and set the tone for a quirky and friendly vibe throughout our experience. The staff paid considerable attention to our needs and even went as far as suggesting and preparing a meal off the menu when they had notice our younger daughter was being a bit picky. The food we had was tasty and obviously fresh and home made. Servings were very generous. The staff were attentive and friendly. The venue cuts a nice balance between a local pub and a welcoming place to dine. I'd definitely go back. Don't expect a corporate dining experience but a place with local charm."

"they want to say a big thank you to helen layla rest of the rod on the crown. each one of you played a big roll in making sure lisa myself had a dream wedding! from beginning to end it was absolutely amazing! helen layla they were both fantastic, not only sure that the whole day ran smoothly, but also make sure everyone had a fabulous time! especially us newlyweds! so many of our friends and family have commented on how wonderful the whole day and evening was, and how chilled relaxed it was to xxx the barn looked incredible as well as xxx bar staff were fantastic xxx food was lovely the service to xxx when we say a negative thing, it would be just that the day and the night just went too fast for us! many thanks again they have our day special with wonderful photographs back on we are made Thank you."
