Queen Of Hearts - Carta

A very pleasant local estate pub, full of characters on a Saturday night. Food very good, had the scampi and went done very well. Not too pricey, meal and 2 pints around £18. Well recommended.

There was a lot of us so you expect a few mistakes but I can honestly say it all went so well everyone enjoyed their meals. The staff were very helpful and happy which makes the whole experience better. Thank you for a great birthday meal for my daughter 5*

This is continuing to be a great family pub, with a fantastic atmosphere. The now not so new manager is welcoming and really doing well with this place. The staff are also quick and efficient at their job and the days of waiting ages to get served are long gone!! A nice local pub once more Ver carta

I am new to the area and this is my closest pub. I was nervous about visiting on my own but I had a friend staying this weekend so we booked a table. You exceeded my expectations for quality of food and service and the atmosphere was welcoming enough that I will feel able to visit on my own.

Since change of management it's now the perfect local pub to meet and eat with friends. Plenty of staff on hand to serve customers. With the introduction of quiz nights, pool and darts tournaments, meat raffle, roast spuds put out on Sundays management really going the extra mile for customers. It's great to see the place buzzing again. Keep up the good work great atmosphere. Can't wait for the live music tomorrow.

This has been our local now for many years and we have always wished it was better than it has been. It has never lived up to our expectations. However, it looks like things are changing for the better!! A new manager has stepped in and breathed new life into the place. It is busy, with a nice atmosphere and you are not waiting to be served. I recently visited the Queen of Hearts pub in Daventry. This is probably my 5th visit. It's a decent pub with interesting interior decor. They have outdoor tables and a playground for kids, and the place is pet-friendly. The drinks and food were good, our table was a bit sticky... Don’t want to be mean but the staff seemed a bit tired and not very friendly, but overall, it's a good pub in Daventry that I would recommend checking out.

I remember going to this pub back in the early 2000s and as a kid loved it, in the back there used to be a massive kids play area which has now turned into a extended dining area, now that I have kids I do miss the play area as I would have loved my son to have the good memories I had. Back when the place first opened I have memories of there being an outrun arcade machine something else that has now gone. As for the food, it's average pub grub, nothing to complain about there. I do enjoy going here

It's shockingly bad...bar staff didn't know what drinks were available and had to have them pointed out to them from the drinks menu and from behind the bar. There were 8 of us, and it took age to get the first round from the very inexperienced bar staff, which made our minds up not to bother with a second round. The person who took our food order had clearly no detailed knowledge of what you serve and againwe were guidinghim to the items on your menu. The gap between meals being served up was enough that some of us started our food so it wouldn't get cold. There isn't much of an atmosphere to speak of, but that could be because it was a weekday afternoon. There's the detail..... Ver carta
