Radhuni - Carta

Very friendly service. Good presentation and good food. We had a few starters and mains and the food was hot and served in a reasonable time. The prices are less than other places we have been and that was a plus. It’s not a large place so advise booking ahead. Highly recommend for a quiet night out.

The restaurant offers a special menu on Monday and Tuesday, which is a great value and has a good variety of options. Karl and his team are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and polite, which makes the dining experience very enjoyable. I would definitely return earlier in the week to take advantage of this deal.

We visited the restaurant early in the evening with a party of three. We were warmly welcomed and addressed by our first names. My wife, who uses a wheelchair, had a starter for her main meal while I ordered the beef dish. Our friend is a vegetarian and the staff suggested a variation for her that she enjoyed. A great meal tonight, served with care. My wife is disabled in a wheelchair and are regulars here so they know us. My wife has dementia and they are aware to the problems. Tonight for example carl removed the hotplate as he felt this would be a hazard to her. My wife had salmon and cleaned the plate. I had the lamb shank. Prefect. My wife enjoyed her meal. So if she is happy, I am happy. Many thanks to the staff and Carl.

We decided to try Radhuni on a Monday night, after hearing about their set menu for £14.95 (February 2023) with starter, main, side and rice or bread. There's a good amount of choices and a great wine list too. I had the onion bhaji which was delicious and a good amount too. The main courses are also generous and were all tasty. The same for the side dishes and naans. The service is very friendly and unobtrusive. We will definitely be back, thank you very much.

I had a regular fab Indian restaurant where I used to go on a regular, until it lost its drinks licence and have been on the hunt for a new one that ticked all my boxes. It had to be, great food, good wine selection, great friendly and attentive service and not to far from home. Radhuni is my place. Had a fabulous meal with friends, staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Checking all the time if everything was ok and if we needed anything. My wife, who has Parkinson's, uses a wheelchair and has dementia, and I visited a restaurant with a friend. We always choose to visit during an early, quiet time to make things easier. Yesterday, we visited at 6pm and it was perfect. The staff were understanding and caring towards my wife. The meal was delicious and everyone enjoyed their dishes. My wife typically only has a starter as her main meal and samples the other dishes. She ate well, as did the rest of us. The staff even helped with getting the wheelchair in and out of the restaurant. After enjoying a glass of red wine and an Irish coffee, pushing the wheelchair home took a bit longer but we were happy.

We used to visit here once a month as my dad loved it there, good quality food and brilliant service. So we thought it would be the ideal place to have my dads retirement meal. I rung up and booked 8 weeks in advance, even offering a deposit to secure the table of 12. They said that wasn’t needed so all sorted in my eyes. 6 days before we was due there they rung to say they needed to move our table at 7pm to 9.30pm as they had a bigger table now booked in and couldn’t do us at the same time. I asked when they booked and the man couldn’t answer. He said let me call you back in 24 hours. So we waited and they did call back 24 hours late (so now 5 days until we was due) to say they were cancell...

I last wrote a review on Radhuni back in 2017, giving a rave review! I thought it was about time I wrote another! We don’t live far from Radhuni (walkable, in fact). Our local, The Ship, is basically opposite, so having had a couple of early drinks, we decided we fancied eating out, but where to choose? We have four Asian restaurants in Main Road, Gidea Park. Friends had mentioned that Tuesday night, at Radhuni, offers a set menu, so we thought “why not!” – it was rather early – around 6.30pm! My last review mentioned how smart the staff are, so helpful and courteous, and that they still are – very polished! We were seated immediately; a nice table in the middle of the restaurant.
