"The place had good food, low prices, good service but was not special in any way. A group of friends gathered to eat and it took a bit of time before the drinks started, but once they got going, service was very fast and efficient....Our server was also very pleasant. I tried the sour hot soup and the red chicken curry. The soup was extra spicy, as requested and very good. The curry was mild (I forgot to ask for extra spice) but the taste was good. It was not a large portion, but enough for me. The rice was excellent, nice and sticky. The menu variety was excellent, with many choices and beer from Augustiner. The one thing which I did not like was the smell of cooking oil, which stuck to my clothes, despite hanging them to air out. The smell was still there the next morning, so into the wash they went. There were not many customers, either on this night or the night the week before when I stopped by to make the reservation competition for restaurants is fierce in this section of Munich. The location is very accessible – 700m from Marienplatz, Tram 16 and 18 (nearest stop Reichenbachplatz, 240m) and Busses 52 and 62, nearest stop only 60m"

the description of the dishes on the menu corresponded in the rule not to the fed food. the notation was considered in principle. only star unfortunately.

A short distance from the Marienplatz, we enjoyed the freshly prepared and nicely presented dishes and the quiet outdoor seating. The menu lists items in transliterated Thai as well as auf Deutsch and English. Service was friendly and accommodating. I could eat wurst und kartoffel...at least twice a day for a long time, but my husband was looking for some variety, and Rainbow was a good choice.

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
