"Stopped in on the way back from Livingston and had a light lunch. This was our 2nd visit and that tells it's own story. Staff are great. The food is tasty, fresh and a wee bit on the unusual side. I had a plate of home made soup and a sandwich. My wife also had soup and some pate. And very nice it all was. A good measure of an establishments quality, in my opinion, is the cleanliness of the toilet facilities. This gets a 5 star rating on that score! We couldn't resist the scones either but as we were choc full after our lunch these were taken home. With the staff kindly providing butter and jam. Pop in if you're passing. You won't be disappointed!"

"Ordered Food last night for 6pm collection, order was ready and roasting hot at 6pm. Everyone enjoyed the food 100%. Best chips in Lanark too. Pizza, super tasty and pasta dishes all amazingly tasty. Thank you for everything and keeping up the quality during these very difficult times."

"This restaurant has the worst service I have ever encountered! We ordered a cola, hot chocolate, soup, and egg mayo sandwich, which are very simple items and should have been quick and easy to make. We were the only customers there when we arrived, but we waited well over an hour for our food. The soup was lukewarm and there was no apology or explanation for the long wait. The service was terrible! As we waited, the restaurant started to get busier and some couples even left due to the long wait and unhelpful staff who couldn't provide information on allergen-friendly options for their baby. Eventually, we received our food, but we were the only ones in the restaurant who had been served after waiting over an hour. When we finished our meal and left, there was still no sign of anyone else's food being served. This was the worst service I've ever experienced, and I would not recommend this place. I suggest trying the cafe in the mill instead, which is excellent and I will definitely go back there in the future."

"Popped in for a little treat and wasn't disappointed. Very friendly people and a lovely welcome. Nice variety in the Menu and everything is made fresh to order. Good selection of home baking too which all looked delicious. We had the home made Lentil soup (you get a choice of serving size, as well of types of soup) which came with lovely brown crusty bread and some salad, and a baked potato with sweet chilli chicken which came with home made coleslaw, crisps and some salad as well. My daughter enjoyed her potato but was expecting the chicken to be warm, like the potato, but it was very tasty anyway. Drinks were a Diet Irn Bru and a Mug of creamy hot chocolate you get a choice of size of drinks too, which is another nice little touch. Prices are very reasonable and there was a constant turnover of people visiting. Nicely decorated inside with plenty of room too. Would go back and also recommend it if you are in the area."

"So nice worth the visit. What a lovely authentic meal so happy when it reopened after the fire, i went to china bleu only once terrible terrible food if you want a lovely Chinese meal go to Capitol House , the meal was delicious the service was friendly and a nice big smile , stars for Capital House"
