Schönes, gutes Restaurant in gehobener Klasse. Wir haben dort mit unserer Praxis, das Weihnachtsessen gehabt. Echt klasse. Sehr gutes Personal. Schön eingerichtet. Sehr gut gegessen.

Super! Super! (Wie immer! Nicht nur das Gans Menü ist ein Traum ! Aber zur Weihnachtszeit ein absolutes Muss! Wir genießen es seit 2008 und hoffen auf viele weitere Jahre! Dank an Herrn Gethmann und sein Team!

Seit vielen Jahren ist es ein weihnachtliches Ritual beim Raphael’s in Monheim einzukehren, um das ‘ganze Gans-Menü’ zu genießen. Noch nie wurden wir enttäuscht und es gibt keine Alternative. Es ist ein Hochgenuss, das seinesgleichen sucht. Konkurrenzlos. Wir sagen Danke an das Team! Ver carta

Wir haben hier wie immer sehr gut gegessen, Herr Gethmann gab mir bei Ankunft den Hinweis auf seinen Fahrstuhl, den ich auf dem Rückweg mit meinen Krücken sehr gerne auch benutzt hätte, nur leider kam er nicht, also wie so oft wenn ich komme, wieder mal defekt. Sonst hätte ich hier auch volle 5 Sterne vergeben. Danke trotzdem, dass wir eure Gäste sein durften.

The menu offers a variety of options as I visited this place during the Christmas season, I went for geese! I can just say it was one of the best I had in my life. Beverages as OK (limited offer in terms of beer, but large in terms of wine). The staff is competent, good English... the waiting time is perfect. Desserts are also great. The decoration of the restaurant is a bit erased, but it's OK.

Just tried to eat here but we were told it was too late and they were full. The time was only 20:30 and there was plenty of space! In fact the waiter even said the kitchen stopped working at 21:00. There were at least 20 tables unused but apparently we should have booked. We've gone next door to Zum Vater Rhein where they were quite happy to serve us. Needless to say we won't be returning to Raphael's! Ver carta

This restaurant is may be the best in town. Monheim has only 43.000 inhabitants and the choice of restaurants is limited. However this one has a very nice modern interior and a nice terrace on which you can enjoy a view over the river Rhine.The food in general is good and there are also set menu options at reasonable prices at lunch and dinner time. Another nice issue is the option to book for a price of around 50Euro per head a 3-4 course menu with wine included. They offer monthly specials as well.

Das Rapharls hatte uns Anfang des Jahres super gefallen, aber diesmal war es der reinste Reinfall. Wir hatten Wildschwein mit Pilzen, Birne und Wirsing ä, Fleisch war mir noch zu Rohr dann zu kalt, Birne habe ich als solche nicht erkannt, hatte man mich nicht drauf aufmerksam gemacht das es Birne ist, hätte ich es als Rohr Süßkartoffel oder sonst was abgetan null Geschmack. Geschmacklich sonst ok. Das Surf and Turf na ja viel zu wenig drei Garnelen und ein kleines Stückchen Fleisch und einen super kleinen Klecks Kartoffelgratin. Geschmacklich wohl auch ok. Die Gänsekeule war klasse, aber der Rohrkohl war nur schlecht und der Klos noch roh. Zum Schluss das Hirschsteak ging gar nicht total kal...

I was invited by my company, a quite large group of overseas colleagues for dinner in Raphael Restaurant and Weinbar in Monheim. Unfortunately, I came too late because of the many street works near the restaurant and the lack of obvious parking. I parked on the street a little away. Finding the place on foot was not obvious either. Nevertheless, I took time and had luck. The restaurant is located on the first floor and once found, I have settled and tried to pick up with the first course of the set menu that has already been served.
