"have spent a super nice evening there on Saturday night! big host, all we have tried were delicious top and we have already ordered in the past, often great there and have also discovered a few new wee will also like to order. the food was prepared with love and very tasty. all to recommend! a very great experience and they can notice that in everything they have heart blood in their family arnoldi."

"I read some reviews and heard from friends that this was thé place to eat in Cochem am Mosel, so we were very excited to find the restaurant near empty on our arrival as we had expected a wait.There was nobody to greet us as we walked in so after waiting politely waiting at the entrance for a bit we decided to seat ourselves awaiting the the host, waiter/waitress to come and greet us.It took another 5 minutes for the waitress to show up. As soon as she showed up she kindly requested us to move from the cozy booth-like spacious table to a smaller wooden table. Since the entire restaurant was empty, with the exception of one gentleman and it was about an hour before closing we did not see her point to keep the large table for non-guests so we kindly declined. The frauleins entire attitude changed and we could hear her screaming and yelling in the kitchen to the chef. She then proceeded to vent her grief to the other patron in German. One might imagine her surprise when I kindly informed her that I was able to understand her conversations ( I am Dutch so I understand the language ) and did not appreciate her treating us this way. Being used to American customer service I do lower my standards somewhat but to be told smack about a semi-professional in a small town restaurant in the middle of nowhere is not something I accept. We were looking forward to taste the local food but were quite frankly concerned that this would come with some non-sanitary condiments."

"We had no reservation but were seated in 5 minutes. Reviews mentioned grumpy staff but I didn't find it to be that exactly. A little "direct" during busy hours, no complaints here. The small bread rolls with house made butter were warm and brilliant. The bruschetta was fresh, crispy and perfect to start with. I ordered the chef's tortellini which was half cream sauce and half red. The tortellini were stuffed with different fillings based on the corresponding sauce. It was hot and cooked to perfection when served. My wife ordered a tagliatelle dish that I tried and was impressed with. Wine list was good and the decor/atmosphere was very inviting."

"Wir sind bei euch gelandet, nachdem uns tripadvisor quasi hierhergelotst hat und wir wurden überhaupt nicht enttäuscht - eher das Gegenteil. Das Restaurant war voll besetzt als wir ankamen, aber wir hatten Glück und bekamen nach einer kleinen Wartezeit einen Tisch. Die Mädels im Service waren eindeutig im Stress, trotzdem waren sie sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unsere Bestellung wurde fix aufgenommen. Dass Essen und auch Getränke vielleicht eine Minute länger dauerten war für uns nur verständlich (wie gesagt das Restaurant war bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt und es kamen immer wieder neue Leute, die teilweise leider auf einen anderen Abend verwiesen werden mussten) und durch das rundum freundliche Auftreten des Personals saß man auch gerne einfach im Restaurant. Bruschetta vorweg und Pizza als Hauptgang waren einsame Spitze! Selten so leckere Pizza bekommen! Hinterher hab's noch nen Schnaps aufs Haus. Wir würden so gern wiederkommen (wenn die Anreise nicht so weit wäre)!"

"Wenn es nur das lausige Hüft-Steak von irgendeinem Amerikanischen Spezial-Rind gewesen wäre, das ich gewählt hatte,weil es teurer als argentinisches Fleisch war, würde ich dies nicht schreiben. Im Nachhinein würde ich jedes x-beliebige argentinische Steak vorziehen. Die durchaus freundliche Bedienung konnte dem Koch ausserdem leider nicht klar machen, wie ich mein Steak bevorzuge (innen nicht blutig).Der "Wildkräutersalat" bestand aus Feldsalat, Tomaten, Paprika und ein oder zwei Blättern Löwenzahn (oder etwas ähnlichem). Leckeres Dressing, aber die Bezeichnung scheint mir irreführend, ausserdem verstehe ich nicht wie man an ein paar Blättern Feldsalat sparen kann, die das Ganze etwas nachhaltiger gemacht hätten. Der Gipfel war allerdings der deutsche Rotwein, den ich auf Empfehlung der Bedienung bestellt hatte. 4,70 für 0,2l. Mit leichtem Essig-Geschmack im Abgang. War wohl aus der Gegend. Vielleicht ist Cochem keine gute Lage für Rotwein, dann sollte man ihn halt entsprechend billig anbieten (oder gar nicht)."
