"Came for food after seeing good reviews online. Got seated no problem and shortly after sitting we were asked for drinks. I had water and my partner asked for a coke. Drinks came to the table. The coke was flat and probably poured from a 2 litre bottle behind the bar as it did not taste like coke. For starters we asked for pork belly and chicken wings. The pork belly was nothing but fat and the calamari that came with it did not taste great and was luke warm. There was a sauce of some kind served with it but it was hard to tell what it was supposed to be. The chicken wings came. The sauce on the wings was nice even though there was not much of it. Not much meat on the chicken bones and the bones on the wings where black once you got into them. Not wanting to totally give in on my thought that it might just be a 1 off, I ordered the fish and chips as its hard not to ruin a simple dish like that. The fish was bland and greasy and the batter was hard as a rock. We also ordered the Chicken Stack with mash and gravy. Chicken was OK but the bacon served with the dish was obviously reheated and hard. Overall the dish was poor quality Having seen the many good reviews we were excited to call here for quite some time. However we were very disappointed with the food we received. I think it is the right thing to do leaving an honest opinion Hate leaving a bad review but would not recommend to anyone I do not wish for the owner to contact me or give me his mobile number. A bit disappointing, the table we were placed at was awful, it was one of those big circle electrical cable reel, very uncomfortable, for the price charged I would think they might put a filter on their water, it tasted like bleach, and we had to wait nearly an hour after ordering our main course, fine dining prices, but definitely not a fine ding experience. A large group arrived after us was served before us, not good. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1

My my my what a find. Words fail me, I have never enjoyed a meal as good as this one. I had the fillet steak with crab claws and prawns. Magnifigue! Cecily had the chicken dish and she couldn't stop complementing it with enthusiasm. Extremely warm, friendly attentive service. We were given a free shot sized example of their soup as a starter. Delicious! At the end we were given a free lemoncello type digestant. Refreshing. The selection of desserts were brought out in a tempting tray. Never seen that before. What could we do but let our eyes order for our stomachs. No complaints oh except maybe that there isn't a Raymie's close to us in Dublin. This beautiful restaurant would be a regular ve... Firstly Raymies is one of our favourite restaurants to go to, however tonight the feelings are mixed, and split between the food and the service. The good part is the food as always was excellent, I had the lamb and my husband had the fillet steak, both were spot on, so top marks to the chef. The service however on this occasion was disappointing, its normally very good. (we did note that Neil was not about tonight) there were plenty of staff on duty. We were sat at our table and given the menu, then shortly after our drinks order and food order was taken (so good so far). The drinks came quickly, we did not order starters and obviously a steak freshly cooked takes time, so no issues about t...

"I have never left a negative review in my life and I do realize that this is not a Michelin starred Bistro, but dear me, I also think that you can expect some sort of standard when you go out to eat. We went with family on Wake the Giant Weekend . Particularly the best time to visit Warrenpoint and County Down in general. We came to this Hotel recommended by friends. We are from Scotland . It was a two day trip , we stayed at Killeavy Castle . However decided to eat here on Saturday night . But , Unfortunately, the standard at this restaurant was very poor. Where do I start? Having entered the restaurant, we had to wait for several minutes to be greeted, and had to wait 25 mins to be seated for a table we booked a day in advance . It was nearly half an hour over our reservation time , when finally a Blonde Woman managing the diary at the door said that our table is now ready. She greeted us with a fake smile as if she was already pissed off on us coming to the Restaurant. She took us to our table, which was a very small square thing, with not much space for anything, and only about 20 cm away from another table, so actually we might as well join the tables together if we go next time i don 't think so ! . The menu cards ABSOLUTELY disgusting, covered in oil and all sorts of food gravy or residue. We ordered our drinks, and soon enough the 'over enthusiastic ' waitress came back to us saying there will be a 20 min wait on a cocktail would you mind ordering something else instead. The garlic mushrooms I had as my starter, was nothing more than over cooked and almost burnt Tesco 's value garlic mushrooms which cost me nearly a £7.00 ... We ordered our mains and ta dah! six minutes later ?! they arrived. Surprisingly such quick instant service, as if they were sitting at the pass for us to finish our starters . We had fillet steaks which was drenched in OIL, seriosuly, that was almost Steaks in OIL sauce, it was some sort of tepid liquid with an ich layer of oil. When my husband asked for some French Dijon Mustard a surprised waiter pointed out that he was getting drinks for another table so please ask someone else. There was no salt on the table at all and you had to try your hardest to attract someone 's attention to get a bit of salt, which took a while, mu husband had to ask the couple sitting next to us. Honestly, the best bit of food we had there, was the pepper sauce!!!! Honestly, I never complain in a restaurant, because I used to work as a waitress myself, so I know what it’s like sometimes. But Jesus, if you charge people an extortionate amount of money, you must give something back and appreciate the paying customers. The whole thing was a bit like a fast food restaurant focused on quantity of people they serve rather than quality Im afraid. They were more focused on the number of customer they can serve than quality of food . The entire time I was sat inches from the young couple and could hear their entire conversation. I strongly suggest to have less tables there, and give people a bit of privacy when eating and talking and trying to enjoy a meal out. Please focus on quality of food you guys are serving than building up the huge numbers . I will never go there again !!! Don 't be fooled by the photos and publicity. This place is nothing but a hyped up restaurant and the service was very poor. Should have got a takeaway pizza instead ."
