The place looks alright at first, but is to be avoided. The food was cold and old, the wine was rotten and the service incredibly slow. Avoid.

The service was slow and they really were not interested at all. The food was ordinary. Not much good to say. There are many better restaurants in Lecce, keep walking past this one.

posto incantevole nel centro. piatti della tradizione salentina molto ben preparati. prezzi onesti e adeguati per la qualità.... Ho chiesto un piatto tipico della sapienza culinaria del Salento e mi hanno soddisfatto: fave e sgabelli per leccare i baffi.

molto bella accoglienza in un posto molto bello, volte a botte, mobili antichi, atmosfera intima ed elegante con decorazioni natalizie molto sobrie e particolari, menu delizioso e di ottima qualità, buon vino, deliziosi dolci salentini deliziosi. per tornare e consigliare assolutamente Ver carta

Ci siamo fermati un tardo pomeriggio per un'apericena: ci è piaciuto molto, dalle birre artigianali agli assaggi (tagliere salumi con bufala, polpettine, verdure grigliate). Non abbiamo gradito granché i sottaceti, ma direi che nel complesso è stata una piacevole serata in un locale gradevole. Quando si affolla, il servizio si fa lento.

This is a charming restaurant in the heart of the historic center of Lecce. The interior is intimate or you can take in the city street life by sitting at one of the outside tables. The owner Stephania makes you feel like you are dining at home sitting at her kitchen table enjoying the food the locals grew up with. Everything we had was excellent. This has become one of my local favorites. My only regret is that I had not found Re Mida until I had lived here for 5 months!

Re Mida is one of the best restaurants in Lecce. It serves unstinting portions of traditional local food. The food is very fresh of good quality. The wines are some of the best in the region. The service is friendly attentive. The restaurant itself is decorated in a fresh traditional style. The atmosphere is so welcoming that I want to keep on going back.... Truly a wonderful culinary experience the pittule, the polpette, the burrata, the cuceri e tria are all amazing. Highly recommended! Ver carta
