Red Sun Chinese - Carta

The food was excellent and the service was quick and very welcoming. Despite the unassuming exterior, this is hands down one of the top Chinese restaurants in London. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Nice attentive staff, but felt rushed almost trying to serve the main course before we were half way through starter, main course luke warm when served and cold after 5 mins which was a shame as the taste of the food was ok.

This charming, slightly shabby restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The excellent food and quality service more than make up for its appearance. Located just a short walk from Oxford Street, it offers generously sized portions at a reasonable price. Worth a visit! Ver carta

We love this place as the food tastes fresh and more authentic. The people are friendly and really nice. The prices are reasonable and we always enjoy our meal. The service is good with lots of top ups of tea which I also like. Sadly, it is not near our home but it is near a tube station.

Had a great solo dinner at Red Sun a couple of weeks ago while on holiday! Had the seafood soup and the scallop/vegetables dish. Seafood soup was so good, I ordered two helpings! The female staff was very friendly too and made me feel welcome. Highly recommended place for a quick Chinese-food meal!

This was our first time dining here and we immediately made a reservation for a return visit while still enjoying our meal. Though the restaurant is small and has a limited menu, the food is truly outstanding. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the prices are very reasonable. Worst Chinese restaurant in London. I ordered sweetcorn crabmeat soup, I received a bowl of sugared water. I ordered quarter duck. I received a few bits of dried up shredded duck. I would urge people not to order from or dine in this restaurant. It is the worst! I actually feel sick this evening. They are partnered with Deliveroo. I complained to them about my horrible experience and they basically told me to take my complaint up directly with the restaurant. So unprofessional

We couldn't get anywhere to eat after leaving it so late and walked passed this quite grotty looking Chinese restaurant full of people. As the belly was screaming at this point we went in but I did have a bit of a sulk when I sat down. I like nice restaurants and I will only ever eat great food....but I can quite honestly say on my next trip to London I will be back. I have never eaten such freshly prepared Chinese food in my life and the girls serving were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The drivers and deliveroo services were queueing up outside and it was none stop. Ignore the facade and grab a table. Stunning!!!

The owner, young lady, is always there and very hospitable. After a view visits, she already new us, welcomed us pleasantly and new our usual without fail. The food is truly very tasty and every trip to London we have to go there at least twice! If you decide to go to this restaurant, I am sure you have certain dishes that you like from other restaurants. I challenge you to compare if you find the same dish on the menu : If you prefer alcohol for a beverage, no worries, the place is licensed. The prices are also excellent for the delicious food tha...
