"Overpriced, shocking slow service, chips absolutely overdone, steak full of grissle,don't sit upstairs as you are lucky to get service without catching someone serving someone else We ordered starter main course and pudding mins for starters not to bad but then mins wait...for mains then they forgot one of our meals so had to wait another mins while rest of party eat theirs, your not allowed to order drinks at the bar so have to wait an eternity for a passing waiter to hopefully notice you and take your order. I complained to two waiters and asked for the manager but to no avail. No appology or exploration from them.The kids were getting so resless and had drunk all their drink I had to ask for another round of drinks (which we wouldn't have normal had to have done) while we were waiting and ask for them to be free because of the wait and poor service (to be honest i would have expected this to be offered because of the delay am mix ups)again asked for the manager but was only delt with by a waiter. We booked early for so wasn't busy and exactly prime time when we arrived and because we had to young children,finally left just under hours later not because we wanted to stay that long but because of the slow service really not well spent at all will not be going back"

Had an amazing meal. Fast service, lovely staff who were great with the children who usually struggle to cope with eating out. Definitely will visit again when we are down this way!

We visited the restaurant about a month ago for their new Sunday Roast special. The service was outstanding! Some of us were in wheelchairs and they were very helpful and accommodating. The food was delicious and the value for money was excellent. I couldn't eat another bite! Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

I rang to book, and the staff were very accommodating and could not do enough for us. Booked us a table downstairs for mothurs birthday so she did not have to climb stairs, and when we arrived allowed her to choose a different table so...she didn't have to squeeze her parchment skin legs into a bench. The food was delicious, and so was the mead. We had half a carafe of blackberry wine with our main course, and they brought out the cake and lit the firework in it. They let us take a doggy bag home as well. The service was absolutely perfect, we could not ask for more, murastawhy dheugh why oll many thanks to you all!
