"Fantastic eaterie. Stopped here on route south to north Wales. The food was cooked fresh and well presented. We had the normal and veggie breakfasts and they were terrific. We also had our cocker spaniel with us and he was made to feel at home. Staff were friendly. Establishment clean and welcoming. Lots of lovely home made cakes and plenty of seating on the main floor and upstairs. Could not fault it. Don't look anywhere else and waste your time go here for a snack, brunch, coffee, cup of tea or a cake. Can't recommend it highly enough."

Always eat here whenever we visit Kendal and I’ve never been disappointed. Love the chilli con carne it’s homemade and really tasty. Really friendly staff too.

Relish has a top notch location in the center of Keswick. Lots of outside tables overlooking the farmers market. The sandwiches are good and very reasonably priced. Ver carta

Found this super little cafe whilst visiting Kendal. Delightful young lady serving tasty food and delicious cakes (made by her mum). Happy to leave my husband to sample the sweet treats whilst I browsed CoolCrafting on the opposite side of Market Square. Returned for lunch pulled pork panini/eggs Benedict/millionaire shortbread/Rice Krispie cake. Generous portions and great value for money. Will return.

I visited Relish in Kendal for the first time over the weekend. I was warmly greeted and enjoyed a delicious bowl of soup with bread, followed by a slice of Bakewell tart and a cup of tea. It was nice to see a traditional cup and saucer, although the teapot was a bit small and the lid kept falling off. Overall, this minor issue did not diminish my enjoyment and I would recommend this café. I will definitely visit again, as I always try to support small businesses whenever possible.
