This was a typical Turkish restaurant with very nice ambient, food quality used t be much better than what but is these day!

A nice restaurant, lots of tables, enough space for the guests, delicious Turkish food, hospitable service, cosy. One of my favorites in Hamburg.

Nothing particularly special but it is possible to have a decent meal with a kind of Turkish style. The place is comfortable and the service acceptable. Ver carta

As a vegan it can be difficult to eat in a restaurant but when we asked about vegan options we were delighted to find out that any option from the veggie menu could be veganised as they cook to order.The food was delicious, we were taken care of and the prices are reasonable.Definitely recommend this restaurant.

D-anties like burgers, chips, wraps, ceasar's salad and fajitas. O-h and their breakfast is said to be excellent, too. R-eading material like magzines and newspapers on offer. I-nterior like an old American diner: red leather, a jukebox. S-ervice is quick and efficient, prices are just fine. D-esserts like pancakes, ice cream, apple pie, brownies. This is a diner all right. There 's branded napkins, cliché booth seating, red upholstery and all, there 's even a jukebox in the corner. Atmosphere is really important, and to me, this place is inviting to that early afternoon slow-day brunch, or just hang out with your laptop. I guess what I 'm saying is that I like that it 's a simple place, appealing for days when feeling casual. Which why it saddens me that the food here isn 't good. Not even by cheap-ish diner-standards, (they 're not even that cheap). In general food is too greasy, a bit too salty (I 'm usually not that sensitive, but e.g. my mother wouldn 't be able to eat it at all) and I 'm pretty sure most of it 's been frozen. I...

We came upon this restaurant accidentally and were delighted we chose to sit and eat. It is located in a lovely little square/plaza and we had a table outside underneath parasols - I felt like we were in Sicily! Delighted to have the parasols as it unexpectedly rained and this was the only restaurant in the square that had full cover for customers. The service from a young Turkish speaking waiter (he also spoke German and English) was fabulous - he could not have been kinder. We had an 11 and 9 year old with us and he recommended dishes for them that were superb! He also offered that the kitchen could do whatever the children wanted to eat (off the menu). They had Kofte (meatballs) and chips...

Doris Diner is a nice, small american style diner in grindel which serves stereotypical american cuisine burgers, fries, and grilled sandwiches. I ordered a bacon cheese burger which was large and tasty, with just the right amount of pickles (not too much, not too little). I received a large helping of fat fries and a small amount of coleslaw. Service was quick and friendly, the prices are moderate I paid around 8 euros for my burger meal (without drinks). They actually serve lemonade here, which is very rare in Germany most places aren 't even familiar of the concept. UPDATE: I just moved into the area, so I went here over the weekend for breakfast.
